I'm curious to know if anyone here is vegetarian or vegan.

I'm a vegetarian myself, wondering if there's any like-minded people here. My reason for being vegetarian is because I oppose slaughter.

Anyone who doesn't want to say whether they are or aren't is fine by me, like I said, I'm just curious.

I'm not a vegetarian.. meat is just a part of what I eat. We've been doing it for thousands of years, it's a means for survival. Maybe not nowadays, but what makes it any more wrong than it was back then? I'm not opposed to vegetarians though, I can understand their personal feelings towards the matter. I'm just not very easily traumatized. bluetongue.gif

Ehh, kind of, to an extent. bluetongue.gif My family eats meat, so if I were to -completely- not have any meat/fish/chicken in my diet, I'd have to never eat at home. Or make my own food. Or just not eat. bluetongue.gif

So I do eat fish once in a while, but not really meat or chicken. I do eat the foods that may have meat in them, just not the meat itsef. And yes, I plan on oficially becoming a vegetarian once I'm 18. Silly parents. bluetongue.gif

Same reason for me. Plus, I'm not too fond of meat's taste either.

I don't eat anything that has lived because I am opposed to needless killing. This includes vegetables. I also don't use paper, because trees were alive too. And don't get me started on fossil fuels!

I'm an omnivore. I've never viewed killing livestock for food as wrong. I'm not opposed to hunting, either (Poaching is a different matter). Of course, I don't believe in killing protected species, non-game animals, or pets. I see meat as a vital part of my diet, so it won't be going away any time soon.

Nope, I eat meat, drink milk, and wear leather occasionally. I probably wouldn't do to well as a vegetation, anyway.

IMO being a vegetarian is the dumbest thing to do and then the parents feed their small kids that are growing with just vegetables and then they wont grow and they get short, weak and dumb.
