It would take years to watch that tape... I like the other part, though. |
Unless you died at birth.
And in heaven, years are like two hours of non-stop literature.

'Cept They burn. A lot.
Any way, if you go to **** (hah! I can say it! I'm 13!) you probably have to watch your life backwards while standing on your head.

Marek what that is, is when the world ends gods kingdom will be here, on earth. Not that we will reencarnate here but heaven wil preside on earth.
I belive in the bible. gods written word to man. It says that when we die if were a christian we go to heaven and if were not we go to hell. I don't need anything else to tell me what happens. Sure we will al die, but are disitions on earth answer this debates question. So if you want the true answer read the bible it answers all the question of this debate.

So you believe it just because it says so in a book? Whatever floats your boat.

You believe that when you die, you will go to heaven beacause you are Christian, and I will go to hell because I'm not Christian?
I'm pretty sure there's at least 2 religions that say if you don't believe in that then you will go to hell, so people are going to hell whether they like it or not

And what's the difference between the bible and any other book? Is the Koran (sp) just a book? Is the torah just a book?

No where in the bible does it say that. Quite the contrary. It says that when we die, we will all go to the spirit world. When the world ends (as some like to call it, but I refer to it as the second coming when Jesus will walk the world again) all those who are dead will be brought back to earth. All people will live to the age of a tree (dunno how long that it, it just says that). After the millenium, people will be sent to the Final Judgement. There, depending on how good a person they were on earth, they will be sent to three seperate kingdoms. The Telestial Kingdom (the lowest), the Terrestrial Kingdom, and the Celestial Kingdom (being the highest). The people who are in the highest degree of the Celestial Kingdom, the people who lived a whole life doing good, and making a family and raising them well, will have the ability to be a god. They will have the power to create worlds, and so on. Ermm, don't want to make a big religious discussion, so I'll stop there.

And that difference is? I have seen the Bible on numerous occasions, I have even read some of it, and much to my amazement, it looked JUST like a book.

Im not trying to diss the Christian religion, I am actually a Christian myself. But I have to look at this from all angles. The bible is compiled of books written by many different authors over the years. Christians always claim that the bible tells the word of god...but the other books, like Leftyy said, also claim the exact same thing. And most of the time, the books of different religions are totally different from one another. What I think is that as long as you believe there is a god, and try to do good, then you will move on to whatever is next. If you do sin most of your life, then...well, I'm not sure what will happen in that case. But that brings up another question...how can you measure the amount of good and amount of evil in a person? I believe that god created the universe, and that he started the chain reaction that created other planets and galaxies. And about the question of 'Well why does god let people die every day?' God is wise...he/she/it knows what it's doing. Without good, there cannot be evil, and without evil, there cannot be good. If no one died then how could you feel sadness? And without sadness, you would never feel the lifting of your heart and spirit, and feel hope. Without anger, you would never feel regret, and would never have to say you were sorry. If one side, good or evil, tips the scale, then the universe will end.
I believe alot more...but Im just running through some of the main points...

now dhamonw, i can say anything i want to you cause were friend . your in my web of doom hahahahah. to be a christian you HAVE to belive everhting in the bible. including that it was god inspired.

They say you are put into a huge 'soul pool' where all the souls of everything ever lived are. What about aliens? How come people can't remember coming from different planets when they are 'born again'?
TripleH, I'm sorry to say this, but I think you are just being a bit of a religious whackjob. You are so narrow minded, stubborn and fanatical about your religion. It's just sad, very sad. People like you there was mindless killing in the middle east, also known as 'The Crusades'.
