I don't recall spell check being a requirement when posting and never knew that it was a rule to use it... Please explain that yourself.

Also, there is an ignore button on the forums if his posts really give you so much brain damage.
{lang:macro__view_post}

I never said that his posts were hard to read or that it hurts me to "strain to read them." All I did was speculate on the fact that Bes saw a spell check and didn't use it. He knows that people find it hard to read his posts whenver he makes one so why didn't he use a spell check then? I'm not thinking about how hard it is to read for me since I can easily enough decipher what it says, I'm just thinking about what other people have commented about the way he spells words.

So you are saying that his posting skills determine the type of person he is? So if I started posting bad, everyone would hate me and not talk to me just because I can't type?

nice upgrads including the spell chek lolz!

Bes, you know it's there. So WHY don't you use it? You even spelt 'Spell Check' wrong, for crying out loud.
I'm serious about this. So try to keep your "Don't say that"'s, etc... to a minumum until Bespetna can answer me.

Good God,

Let's try to be mature here. Insulting someone or getting angry at them for poor grammar is not a valid basis for argument. I think some of us are just a little too critical of others. Perhaps we should look in the mirror. I could easily rip apart everyone's post and regurgitate it into a grammatically error-free piece of English perfection, but do I do that? No I do not. I respect every member for their individual characteristics, whether that is bad spelling or not. I think the people who enjoy instigating conflict should just learn to bite their tongues. As annoying as it may be to you, people other than you have feelings, so let's try to be mature and thoughtful of others and take their feelings into consideration next time you post. And this is not just directed toward you, Final. It is applicable to everyone who is guilty of making such posts and have not undergone change.

No no no that is not what I am saying Base! No one would hate you for the way you post! I'm just saying that he knows people find his posts hard to read and that he didn't bother to use the spell check.

He might like expressing himself the way he really is, not in the way that the computer (and those here in SeeD) want him to express himself.

That could be true but it can get annoying if he expresses it in a form where some people can't read it.

And he has used a form of spell-checking before so you couldn't say that he hasn't used the computer to express himself. It was that time when someone reccomended that Bes typed what he wrote into a post, he would copy and paste it into a Word document, use the spell check and then copy and paste that proof-read post back onto SeeD. He said that he would use it and for a time he did until he suddenly stopped... that's what I find odd.

It's not worth it. I'm gonna 'bite my tongue'. Sorry for even bringing this up, there's no point continuing without Bes here to explain himself. All of these 'maybe's and 'might's aren't going to solve much so I'm not wasting my time anymore.
It just seems like Bes said that on purpose.

Ok this is really a dum topic to go on about...and there really isn't a point. But what I dont get is why you make such a big deal out of it Baseball? You keep accusing people of 'hating bespetna' and 'getting someone arrested'! Why? People are asking bespetna why he doesn't use spell check, and you have to make a huge deal out of it. Were not trying to stop bespetna from expressing himself either! Were just suggesting he use spell check so people can read and understand what he posts better. Lets just drop it, ok? And if you're going to ban someone, let them know why ahead of time.

1) I didn't ban anybody, so get your facts straight. Silverspy banned Ech and I extended it because of his actions on his alt account.

2) Never mentioned getting arrested, it was an ongoing joke with Phil.

3) I'm sticking for Bes because he doesn't deserve this abuse.

I think both sides are guilty of making a bigger deal out of this than it should be. I'm dropping it now anyway, without Bespetna here it's all a guessing game of why he refused to use the spell check.

I respect that you stick with bespetna, but the thing is, it isn't really abuse. It was just a comment that 'might' have been considered sarcastic and it just snowballed from there. Also sorry about the ban thing, if silverspy banned him then silverspy should have let him know why. I also understand that it wasn't just this that ech got suspended for, but previous actions. But you ARE assuming things that people dont really mean, and my example is JGJtan. I think that this topic has solved itself, and we shouldn't talk about it anymore unless responding to bespetnas first post.

Well...base line communication is the real issue the way I see it....Being able to communicate is essential to having a dialoge lol. and if you were that bad off then maybe, yeah, there just might be people who don't want to talk to you because of it. it is like living in china and speaking japanese or something lol. Not easy to get along that way.

QUOTE
3) I'm sticking for Bes because he doesn't deserve this abuse.

I do not think it is fair to tell each what his exact intents were, and as it has been said there is no real polite way to say "you should use the spell check". Good for standing up for the little guy yeah...but that doesn't mean that it was not expected. I mean when your that bad off and recognise that you have a way to improve your self but choose not to use it, then you are flat out, inviting insult.

QUOTE

Yes there is, but no one is capable of making it well apparently...the point(s) is/are that, bes, though realizing a path to self improvement in the area of spelling, and noting how good it was, neglected to use it. witch will of course lead to confusion. however, accept for the recent addition of spell check this is an old and redundant argument.

QUOTE

Who exactly? bes and ech? they have not been making a big deal out of any thing...I don't even think that, between ech and bes 5 posts have been made in here...it is every one else who is really interested in this. I see that bes said something. ech then commented. And everything else after that has been the problems other people have with it. have these two been arguing lately? have they tossed flames back and forth in this topic? No...it is every one else discussing their business(I am in no way taking my self out of this...I know I am chiming in just like every one else is lol, so I am just as guilty).

The guiltiest party here is the group of people who have made it there business to jump on something that doesn't have much to do with them and that is what is really stupid (like I said I am guilty of it too, but hey, I am not perfect either).
