Okay...so after all this talk about this new archade thing I got to missing the old days...side scrolling times. When all it took to blow your mind was to see an object exit the write of the screen and enter again from the left! ...lol

So I decided to get the game for nes , but ah dang...no spare cash rite? or at least I didnt want to wait that long for that old of a game

after searching forever for it free online, or for the dowload...I found out that people are still try ing to profit off "super mario bros."! but finaly I found this source code for the game...

I figure no biggy i'll just grab all the files they offer and through it on my web site sometime(like I have done with countless source codes for banners, affiliates, message boards, and what not). but hey usualy its html, or a java aplet to run inside my editor or something.

..but a I get the stuff really broke down into all the little things. I get read me files, the tile sets, lvl codeing...alll the stuff, but the apt it self has two major flaws...one it lags heer and there, wich is weird cuase I thought it was so basic its like playing mini clips or something. and the second probleme I could see from lvl 1-1 is no mushrooms to stomp! or any bad guys for that mater and I am pretty sure if I remember rite that those blocks break and dont nudge up and down when you hit em(at least most are supossed to).

so... can any one help with this, and once its goin smothly any one want me ta send em some copies of this stuff?

Just to warn you, I think this is illegal. If I remember right, its basically pirating the game. Unless you have a copy of the game at your house. (Unless this isn't the real Super Marios.) Its called MAME or something. Just giving you a heads up...

Super is probably right. But, those blocks do nudge. Many ofd them. Brick blocks break. All others nudge.

If the website has a copyright or something, dont take the stuff. But if they dont...well I dont know, I guess its ok. Till the cops come to your house
But I think the code you got is probably messed up. I haven't heard of a mario game doing that before

MAME = Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator. I believe the site for it is www.mame.org but I'm not sure. It doesn't emulate the NES, just certain arcade machines. I used to have an NES emulator called NESticle, but there're probably better ones.

Believe it or not, the NES is still not dead. Check out the upcoming Grand Theftendo and prepare to be amazed.

Also... honestly, nobody's going to sue you for downloading an NES ROM, but yeah, it's illegal unless you own a legit copy of the game (well, you can keep it for 24 hours, but meh).
