Since a few relatively large changes occurred and may not be readily obvious, I'll write a brief list of the changes here:

- Can now have two characters. Please check here for details.

- Can earn either Cinii or Credits (depending on your hometown) just by posting. Please check here for more information.

- There is a new registration and profile system to replace the tedious character marquees. More information can be found here. Remember, in order to continue in DStorm you must transfer your character's profile.

- Since "unofficial" rules and systems created by GMs have been causing confusion with the fundamental rules of DStorm (making things seem more complex than they really are), they have been separated from the basic rules in a sub-forum of the Void. This separation should also give GMs a little more freedom if necessary, for their features wouldn't be as easily tangled with the actual plot. These systems do exist and can still function, but they are likely to be asides from the actual game and wouldn't affect plot quests or whatnot.

- Movement update. To go between continents (and sometimes within the same continent) ferry services are now available. They can be accessed at some ports if you do not own a ship (or even if you do, hehe, up to you bluetongue.gif ). Most are free unless considered conveniences. At the same time... In order to cross The Forsaken Desert (to travel between east and west Telanidor) you must have a post count of at least 500. Adventurers with less experience would perish during the long and dangerous trip. grnwink.gif

- Just to get members up to speed a little bit, some new towns are open now. Aderon's adversary, Forlon, on the western coast... Port Izkaldan in the southwestern peninsula of Telanidor... And the elven city of Durencia deep in the seemingly cursed Whispering Wood. Be aware, though, that soon there will be many more locations open.

Stay tuned for more updates in the near future. thumb.gif

When you say back and forth between continents, do you mean like just between every parent forum, or sub-forum, or sub-sub-forum? x x bluetongue.gif Just wondering what the difference is in riding a ferry than just leaving/entering a forum.

I probably am confusing continents with cities..

*shrug* Only thing I'm confused on bluetongue.gif

Certain pinned threads regarding ferries exist in some ports, and as for where they go... The ferry threads mention a specific city, you would end up at that city if you decide to take the ferry. thumb.gif

An example of one of these threads is here.

Hope that helps

If there's confusion with something, just make a big jump to where you want to go for now. bluetongue.gif

The rules are going to be changed a bit soon to simplify things.
