"Look. I'm not in charge of this. Orithon Hellsmith is incharge to the Valeronian branch of the FURA. Oh... you might want to take this."
Nerzuul hands you a dagger.
Rusted Stilletto Dagger: DP = 5
- Special Ability: Bloody slash - Causes a wound that deals 1/2 (rounded down) DP a turn. (DP of this weapon)
Threre is a small emblem on it. It has a red Dagger and a purple bag.

A shadowy figure wearing a dark cloak slowly approaches the entrance to the dark citadel. He stops at the gate and removes his hood. It is Neraphym, a newly materialized dark elf from a dimension foriegn to this plane of existance. He is seeking the guidance of the dark lord Nerzuul, so that he might learn the ways of darkness and regain his once glorious power lost in the transition between existances.
"I seek the audience of the one known as Nerzuul," says Neraphym in a calm, but resolved tone. His words reverberate of the walls as Neraphym stands there patiently waiting for a response...

Neraphym stands unflinchingly, studying intently his situation. "I seek training in the dark arts of your world," he replies calmly. "I sense that you are very strong and very evil. Your darkness pervades even my spirit. You have such power. I am impressed. There is much that I can learn from you, if you would be so kind as to teach me." Neraphym stops and glances about, yet no one has appeared. He continues.
"I seem to be lacking in battle experience. Where may I safely train my skills on weak creatures? Also, I seem to be lacking suitable weaponry and armor. Where might I find some?"

Cacodaemon Hemoian glides up to the entrance of the citadel, sparing the guards nothing more than a passing glance. Shifting effortlessly past their drawn weapons, it continues into the interior. The guards swiftly follow, seemingly determined to bar Cacodaemon from progressing any further. Contempt fills it's entire being as it turns it's attention to these lesser creatures. However, becoming an enemy of Valeron won't progress it's goals.
It was time to enact the first test. Noticing the elf still hovering near the archway, Cacodaemon expands the mental link.
The time has come for a choice. Victory and power, or defeat and death. Fate waits for no being.
Cacodaemon raises a limb towards the guards, preparing for an assault.

Decipi doesn't hear the words through the mental link, he feels them in his bones. He feels this Wraith's desires as if they were his own. These feelings terrify Decipi, but also interest him greatly.
There is no fate but what we make!
Having never spoken through a mental link before, the experience exhausted him, but Decipi knew a fight was imminent. He removed his hood, his cold black eyes becoming visible in the torch light. The gruesome scar reaching from his eye to his cheek was enough to scare any creature, perhaps even this wraith. His eyes turned to the guards, piercing through their very souls.
"You must make a... choice." Decipi said in a loud, commanding voice. Pausing before the last word as if reliving an experience. "Accept me, let us defeat this living darkness, and you shall continue on in your service. Or choose to fight us both, and we all perish." The words seemed as only a ritual, it was his telepathic link that warped the minds of the guards. Their gaze shifted back to the Wraith, as if preparing for their new leader to step in front of them. Decipi did so, ready for a fight.

Cacodaemon extends a claw-like appendage, thrusting outward towards Decipi. Orbs of darkness gather around the central protrusion, lashing out in a vortex of energy. The orbs hurl themselves at the figure of Decipi, aiming for the limbs and chest. A test, indeed..

Decipi throws himself to the right, narrowly being missed by the orbs, unfortunately, one of the guards wasn't so lucky. The orbs hit the dark creature in the chest, throwing him back up against the citadel wall.
Decipi's cloak whirled wildly, enough to prevent the Wraith from attacking, hopefully. As Decipi was moving his legs became twisted, sending him to the ground. Only one option remained, Decipi reached under his belt, pulling forth a small pistol. 1 Shot, that was all the small gun carried. Decipi wasted no time in pointing it at the Wraith, instead he shot a small oil lamp sitting on a desk in the corner. The hot lead ignited the fuel, sending flames across the desk, igniting it as well. The flames brought heat upon the room, but surely not enough to affect the Wraith. What was enough, however, was the light the flamed brought. The room became aglow, banishing the darkness this creature fed upon into the far corners.
The one guard still standing covered his eyes, if that is what they could be called. It had obviously been centuries since the creature had seen such tremendous light. Decipi, however, stared straight into it. Fire had always been a comfort to him, a natural home. And one he knew this Wraith could not dwell in...

Disbelief flowed across Cacodaemon, curling it's features into a ripple. That, paired with the intense light now striking from behind, forced it to retreat into the few shadows remaining in the sparsely columned room.
A worthy opponent after all, perhaps. But one for another time. It could not afford to lose it's influence now.
Focusing carefully, it extended a limb carefully past the blinding light and across the throat of the fallen guardsman. A quick slash, and it was done. Power flowed once more into Cacodaemon's core. Feeding would not take long, but first..
Cunning enough to choose your own fate. Power to make it.. lacking. Take Shral Valeron. Take it all. Power you will have. Power I will give. Accept?

Decipi, taken aback by the creatures power and offer, did not stand. He simply lay on the cold stone floor, looking upon the shadows that he knew held the Wraith. He took a deep breath and accessed the mental connection.
I believe your offer to be nothing more than the cowardice of a nearly defeated foe. Tell me, why would I want to accept power from a creature that I have harmed with a simple flame?
Only seeing what had happened, and not knowing of the mental connection, the remaining guard charged for the Wraith but stopped, gripping its head in pain before turning towards its master, Decipi's eyes piercing its very soul, not telling it to stop, but making it.
