Yes, Sky works nicely.
As for your confusion, here's Cspace's massive speech about how SeeD is like a boot:
Here's another way to look at it:
Suppose that SeeD were a boot (yes, a boot

). If someone were starting a new boot company, they obviously cannot reinvent the boot (I mean, it's just a tall and sturdy shoe...). So they would start with just a boot (or a few) to get started, incorporating what is believed to be good for a boot. Maybe it is believed among the executives that squirrel leather makes the best boot, so the first boot is made from the finest squirrel leather available. Obviously some would be interested, and some may even try it out (or in our case, join). The company would be initially successful, they have something new that others are willing to try, but surprised as they may be the complaints started coming in (or in our case, suggestions, but without surprise

). They found that squirrel leather was not that popular because it wears out too easily, so instead they made a new boot made of rabbit leather (lol, don't ask me why...). This boot would become a success somehow and many liked it for a while.
As time goes on, the boot would be improved from the suggestions of those who wore it. Eventually they had
the boot and everything seemed great (or in our case, the clan's foundation). No longer does anyone need to worry about it until something forces another change (such as the melting of the ice caps resulting in the boots being made of rubber, but that won't happen for a while

). Anyway, now those who wear the boot can have more specific demands.
Maybe some begin to complain about the boot being tedious to tie. Since the company is becoming very large with its popular and now patented rabbit-leather design, and since the boot is a little extensive with the laces, the complaints start coming in. Eventually, the company executives say that it is a boot and it cannot be changed, if they don't want to lace it then get velcro sneakers... Until one day.
One day, they get a peculiar message from a customer. He is not complaining about the lacing problem, but suggested an idea that maybe if springy shoelaces were produced no one would have to lace the boots! The company, surprised by the ingenious idea, began work on springy shoelaces. When they hit the market, everyone is satisfied that they don't have to lace their shoelaces, but some are a little turned off by the polka dotted design of them. Through later suggestions the company could improve on the shoelaces further to suit their customers. This correlates to how problems are sometimes addressed in SeeD, and then the decisions improved further through experiencing the change.
However, there is a natural problem for the customer that the executives cannot do anything about (unless through genetic engineering of the poor rabbits): The boots must be worked in for them to be the perfect fit. Off the shelf a boot is uncomfortable (although quite convenient with its spiffy springy shoelaces). In order for the boot to be any good to the one wearing it, it must be worn and maybe bent a little and worked in with wax to loosen or waterproof the leather. In the case of SeeD, you should participate in the clan in order to make it what you want it to be. When you join you would be confused, eventually you will gain a better understanding of how we work, and finally after being active long enough you would see what you enjoy in SeeD and stick with it. Maybe you specialize in PKing, or maybe you enjoy the community. The clan is different for everyone, just as every used boot would be. It becomes more different for you the more active you are and the longer you are in the clan, just as a boot would be.
Eventually, the boot would wear out. Some may repair it with duct tape or rubber cement, but it wouldn't be recommended

. Face it, you need a new boot, so you go to the store and find that the company has a new one available made of gator skin! Now is the moment of truth, do you want the soft feel of rabbit or the sturdy feel of gator? Definitely the sturdy feel, you think to yourself. As time goes on, more customers switch to gator skin because they happen to like it, so the company changes its focus to adapt to what the customers want. Eventually rabbit leather boots become a thing of the past, just as SeeD would change to adapt to new situations, difficulties, and focuses of members.
Lastly, as the company grows, other companies may decide to make third-party accessories to the gator boot. One company decides to make a mad gator decal, another makes glowing beads to place on the shoelaces (undead hippie style

), and another makes a heel insert to make the boot more comfortable. This shows that anyone could make something for the boot, and if anyone likes the new stuff, they can buy it and adapt it for their own boots. This is just like SeeD. Events, features, forums, everything that can be made from the suggestions and ideas of the members. They can be add-ons or even major changes to how we work (such as the heel insert). Without those thinking of the ideas, these new things would never be available, and the company obviously cannot think of everything (I mean, come on, undead hippie beads?

).

I'm just trying to make an example of how things are intended to work. We cannot change if you just say what is wrong with SeeD, if there is something you don't like
don't be afraid to make a suggestion. It would be more highly considered than you would think and would be implemented if possible. We base everything on what the members want, it is just that sometimes we need to make changes or decisions in order to keep things going smoothly. The past few months have been a high-maintenance time, however they do not represent how we intend to function. Now that the situation is over everything can go back to the way it was (in terms of the community), but that depends on whether you're willing to change. We can keep conflicts festering, or we can forget them. That is up to you and no one else. If you are complaining about a conflict you're in, try to end it if you find it a problem. Feel free to ask any other SeeDs for assistance if you'd like as well. Please don't complain about it though and blame it on the clan because you're unwilling to let something go, we are willing to help but we cannot make you do anything. We can only provide honest suggestions and take action if it is brought here and magnified.

First thought after seeing this beast: "I'm going to cry.."
