Lol, this isn't as complicated as some are trying to make it.
- Recruiting should
never be taken for granted. Unless a clan wishes to limit itself, recruiting should always happen in some way or another. There is no justifying otherwise. Anyone can recruit, and it doesn't need to be advertising on other sites or in-game. Just tell your friends, invite players who become interested in our events when passing by them in-game, and if you really do feel like helping then try to mention us elsewhere. It's not rocket science.
- As with the above, events should never be taken for granted. A lot
has been happening, but not as in the open. There have been events, but there could very easily be more.
If you think SeeD needs events, remember that anyone can schedule them, you included.
SeeD has always been a member driven clan, instead of having administrative events with the official flavor we leave everything up to what everyone wants. It's up to the members for the most part to schedule the events they wish to attend, and that is just one of the many ways in which you can make this your clan. The administrators are
trying to stay in the background when possible so everyone else can schedule what they are interested in.
With all the people saying how we need more events, why don't some of them schedule a few?
(and I don't mean that sarcastically or anything)

Also, we aren't as dead as some like to say. Saying we're dead when we're not gives the impression that we are to new members, and
that can inhibit returns. We've been above 'The' in terms of unique visits many times during the past month on Demoniknights' toplist, and have been floating between #4 and #7 overall (#2 and #3 clans, and atm we in #2 in that respect and are above 'The'). That's hardly inactive.

We just need some events,
and we need for members to check the Event Forum to see them (hint). Some have been saying to me that we had barely any events during the past
year when infact we've had a TON (and the proof is in the forum). I think the problem right now is confusion, but it shouldn't be hard to get back on track.
Let's not worry about it on the big scale, and if some wish to help with regards to events, the door is wide open to them.
