Here is the idea: Instead of having a woodcutting day here, an insanity contest here, we could combine them all into a sort of 'Olympics', which has many events consecutively. Here is just one of these combinations we could do:

A LotGD duel
A debating challenge
A Runescape steel war (heh, return of the Great Steel Crisis )
A trivia competition
and lastly, A DStorm battle

That is just an example. We could change it to a heptathlon if we added a GW and/or Insanity contest too.

Anyway, what do you think?

Mmm, I dunno since I doubt many SeeDs actually participate in all the categories, so the rankings would be kinda odd. Maybe you can confine the activities more so that there are more competitors. I think something solely forum-based could work out well since you don't have to switch around everywhere, and it doesn't need your constant attention.

So something like the debating and trivia challenges like you said, then maybe some signature/graphix competition, or even "the most interesting article" search. Anything that catches peoples' interest and isn't a hassle would be great for an event like this.

Anyhow, sounds like a good idea Nuu, just throwing out some suggestions for you.

Oh, I think I missed something which would answer your problems Dragonman, it will most likely be between gardens.

I don't know how even Gardens are right now since SeeDs can choose them at their own free will, which also means people can change them whenever they want. If you're thinking of making it a group competition, then maybe having people sign up up to ones would be better since Gardens aren't as official as they used to be.

You could do it like different events for each game (although that would be basically the same thing as C' suggested), although it could be like the more people who attented the different games then the better score it would get. And like the highest score (like out of the games) would get like something........*hide* Not sure how to explain it..lol
