[Cspace]

Some here will be wondering about why the heck I'm posting this, lol, and it definitely isn't for everyone here. However... Strangely, I have been talking to more and more SeeDs who simply don't know what we have other than forums. I bring up the arcade, gallery, blogs, and other stuff on AIM, and funny as it sounds, many who use the forums every day did not even know they existed on our site.

No worries though, lol, I just thought I'd list some of the stuff on CurvedSpace and SeeD that we have alongside the forums.

First of all... Our homepage is at www.cspacezone.com, not www.cspacezone.com/forums.

Also, when I refer to "portal", I am talking about basically the whole site with the exception of the undocked forums and a few minor things here and there.

Just thought I'd get that out of the way first, hehe.

The Arcade: We have over 200 Flash games here, all with leaderboards and whatnot to give them a competative flavor. All of the games are free and available to everyone who simply logs in, and the arcade can be found in the "arcade" link at the top of the portal as well as the undocked forums.

Blogs: Every registered member can write and design his/her own blog on CurvedSpace. The link to do so is at the top of the portal.

Image Gallery: All moderators can submit images to the gallery, and members are free to request their own screenshots and whatnot to be posted there. We have quite a few images there and everyone is free to browse them. It is linked at the top of the portal.

Submission Section: Same as the image gallery, but for text submissions. Guides and anything creative may be posted there by moderators and anyone can request their work to be posted if they wish.

Downloads: We currently just have one download, but there will be more as time goes on. All downloads will be available in the 'downloads' link at the top of the portal.

Our Chats: We have two applets to allow easy access to our IRC channels. Links to both are at the top of the portal. It is recommended that you use the advanced chat if you can, for it provides many more features, but if you are not able to load it then the basic chat is an alternative. Both go to the same network, so you would be able to chat with users on both applets at the same time with no problems.

'Quantum Star' & 'Legend of the Green Dragon': Two multiplayer text-based RPGs. Quantum Star is a real-time persistent RPG similar to tradewars and a few other similar games. Try to build an empire and destroy your enemies. Legend of the Green Dragon is a basic text-based fantasy RPG. They are both free to play, although require different accounts from the rest of the site.

DarkStorm: A roleplay game on the forums, based on a real game that we are constructing at this moment (currently titled 'Age of Arcana'). It may appear complex at first but a lot of it is common sense. The vital information in order to become involved is in the "DarkStorm" box on the left side of the portal.

You Can Switch Skins: Yep, if you're tired of "SteelSpace" you can switch skins in the appropriate box on the portal as well as at the bottom of the undocked forums. We have a fairly wide range from which to choose, although you will need to be logged in in order to switch.

... And there's more stuff, not going to list everything. I'm just letting everyone know who hasn't looked around that we have a bit more than just forums.

That Zelda game was pretty amusing, but unfortunately I'm not sure it would really fit in with the 'competitive' part of our arcades. I can't really think of a way to have hi-scores, and I'm not certain the creator would want it being spread around to more sites.

Then again, maybe a section on non-competitive arcade games might be fun.
