Riddle #65
I am a wonderful help to women,
The hope of something to come. I harm
No citizen except my slayer.
Rooted I stand on a high bed.
I am shaggy below. Sometimes the beautiful
Peasant's daughter, an eager-armed,
Proud woman grabs my body,
Rushes my red skin, holds me hard,
Claims my head. The curly-haired
Woman who catches me fast will feel
Our meeting. Her eye will be wet.

Riddle #66
Power and treasure for a prince to hold,
Hard and steep-cheeked, wrapped in red
Gold and garnet, ripped from a plain
Of bright flowers, wrought - a remnant
Of fire and file, bound in stark beauty
With delicate wire, my grip makes
Warriors weep, my sting threatens
The hand that grasps gold. Studded
With a ring, I ravage heir and heirloom.
To my lord and foes always lovely
And deadly, altering face and form.

Riddle #66
Power and treasure for a prince to hold, - so he can give it to a princess maybe?
Hard and steep-cheeked, wrapped in red - it decribes the flower, this one is red
Gold and garnet, ripped from a plain - well it is wild aswell
Of bright flowers, wrought - a remnant - this leads me to believe it is a wreath, but anyway
Of fire and file, bound in stark beauty - it is red?
With delicate wire, my grip makes - it is a rose, they have thorns
Warriors weep, my sting threatens - another misleading line, maybe it is a poppy?
The hand that grasps gold. Studded - maybe only rich people can afford it?
With a ring, I ravage heir and heirloom. - er...hehe, moving on.
To my lord and foes always lovely - every loves deh flower
And deadly, altering face and form. - dunno, again.
I doubt that is right, but it was worth a try.
*Has a brainwave*
Maybe a crown? Yeah that sounds better. (I can't be bothered to do that again, but I will if you want)

My guess is a sword, I'll break it down like Nuu.
Power and treasure for a prince to hold, - Price holds a sword, giving him power and is valuable
Hard and steep-cheeked, wrapped in red - Sword is hard, wrapped in red as in blood I think
Gold and garnet, ripped from a plain - Gold and garnet such as embeddings in the sword, ripped from a plain because of the ore it was made out of
Of bright flowers, wrought - a remnant - Dunno about flowers, but a sword is wrought and is a remnant
Of fire and file, bound in stark beauty - Fire melts the ore which cool into metal, and you can file a sword; stark beauty since a sword is elegant-looking
With delicate wire, my grip makes - Fingers wrapped around hilt, so the metaphor "like wire" comes in there
Warriors weep, my sting threatens - Warriors weep when they get struck by the sword...Sting of the sword is a threat
The hand that grasps gold. Studded - Grasps the golden hilt...
With a ring, I ravage heir and heirloom. - Studded with a ring, maybe a jewel for value, ravaging places for treasure maybe
To my lord and foes always lovely - The sword is lovely to "my lord" because he's just watching it, but deadly to the foes because they're getting hit by it
And deadly, altering face and form. - Using a sword requires special form, and altering face because the user has concentration, or just altering the face of your enemy because you're hacking it up..
Hopefully that fit, although I like the riddle since it makes a good poem.

Power and treasure for a prince to hold, - it is the prince's destiny, it gives him power, and it is a family treasure.
Hard and steep-cheeked, wrapped in red - Crowns are always hard and tall, and it could either be lying on a scarlet cushion, therefore wrapped in red, or contains red velvet
Gold and garnet, ripped from a plain - maybe the gold and silver where taken from a mine on a plain?
Of bright flowers, wrought - a remnant - it says wrought, which means some artisan made it, so the flowers are metal, made by a craftsman.
Of fire and file, bound in stark beauty - This just describes how it was smithed, I'd say.
With delicate wire, my grip makes - more descriptions of the crown.
Warriors weep, my sting threatens - the order of the crown is sending people to war.
The hand that grasps gold. Studded - this implies that it is a rich person that owns it, a noble.
With a ring, I ravage heir and heirloom. - the crown is ring shaped, and it can conquer nations.
To my lord and foes always lovely - Who doesn't want a crown?
And deadly, altering face and form. - this sentence doesn't exist, it is all in your mind!

The main reason why I think it is a crown, rather than a sword is because of this line. Reikin, come here and tell us! I am dying to know!

Riddle #68
Dawns away,
The day's turned grey,
And I must travel far away.
But I'll be back,
And then we'll track,
The light of yet another day.
