That isn't weird, I use it all the time. One that you shouldn't use is yoo-hoo. I sort of implies something nowadays.

How's it going bugalugs? Well, blow me down but I busted my gut today, and when I was finally taking a smoko on the verge, I sussed too late that I was guts for garters. Someone two shammies short of a picnic threw a shotpull ball right at me arse! A good 'ol bloke gave him a rark up, but my bum still felt like it was puckeroo and I almost packed a wargy, but I got a hottie from wop-wops to make myself a box of budgies.

Honestly, its really funny in french. They have an expression "comme un vache qui pisse" that means the same thing. It means that it's raining like a pissing cow...
