Here's one for you, when the producers decide to make a sequel to an already good movie. What happens, is that the sequel sucks beyond all belief. Then they make a movie with a third sequel, when the 2nd movie already sucked, example being Final Destination 3. Your like what the hell!? That movie was good enough, do not ruin it with a sequel.

No pause at movie theatres. I missed half of a movie because of a nose bleed that wouldn't stop.

I hate going to the movie theater on opening weekend. Everyone brings their little kids, all of the annoying and chatty teenagers are there, and it's too crowded. I catch 'em the week after.

The ads are as loud as they can make them. The actual movie is much quieter.

The really little kids who are too hyper to notice whats going in the movie and distract you later by asking loudly what happened when they were busy eating and squealing.

Here's another one for you guts to chew on. What I hate about movies is the horror movie genre. I know that it isnt a specific movie, but it has to do with the movies. What I hate is the fact that horror movies are using more and more gore and less plots. Instead of using good story lines and creating more creative ways to scare the crap out of people, the writers say "Hey let's use more blood and gore." I mean come on, for crying out loud we want to see a movie that scares the crap out of us when we go to see a horror movie, not a freaking movie that uses so much blood it just becomes another gorefest. It's ok to use blood in movies, but writers just still dont get it and some horror movies are just getting to the point where they are just blood festivals for the gore fanatics out there.

When the special effects have been done cheaply. You are just starting to become absorbed in the movie when a gigantic, 2d spider just walks across the screen and ruins everything. And also when the movie is based on a book, and the plot of the book is really good, but the film makers cut out so much that the plot is unrecognisable.

I have had a really good thing happen to me at the cinema though. Once, me and my sister went to see a movie in the last week that it was showing, and we had the entire cinema to ourselves. It was like being at home, just with x100 better TV and sound system. biglaugh.gif

He's good. We should keep him around. bluetongue.gif
  • When the screen has a scratch on it, and it distracts me from the rest, because you can't stop focusing on that dot
  • Idiots who bring lasers to movies
  • People who scream random crap at punchlines *
  • Pre-teens
  • Adults that stalk their children at the movie theatre to make sure they're not "doing anything". **
  • That jerk right in front of you who refuses to close his mouth while he chews popcorn/pop rocks
  • People who deliberately talk on their cell phones to piss people off
  • People who don't realize the "Personal Space" theory. ***

*Yesterday, I went to see "Stay Alive" with my girlfriend and her two friends. At the near end of the movie, where the show was getting ready to explode at a punchline, some idiot down front screams "Caroliinnneee!" I wanted to strangle him.

** Yes, I have gone to movies before and seen two adults stay at the top of the staircase scouting out their child and his girlfriend. After the movie, I exited and could hear them "talking" to him about having his arm around her. Wtf.

*** I was at the movies another time with a buddy, and this MASSIVE fellow sat right beside me. It wasn't the fact that he was just larger than a small planet, but he had a small.... (well.. not small..) "smell" about him. Personal space issues.
Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".
Born to bear and read to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see.

Umm.. part where my friends use my illness to sneak a buffet worth of food into the theatre. Also for the kid kicking the seat thing I don't care what the parents say I just say if he continues that, that I will eat his flesh and send his soul to damnation in h3ll that usually stops him/her and if it doesn't I sometimes accidentally (not really accidentally) trip and spill a bit of burning butter on the kid or something that would stain there clothes or hair.
that teaches them a leson.

Ah yes... "Scary" movies... They can't make me scared so they try to gross me out. Whatever_anim.gif
I saw Child's Play II a few months ago. Stabbed a teacher with a ball pump. Why? So they could show a doll shoving something through a someone. It poked out the other side (How long was this pump?). Stab crap through one guy's eyes... Wtf? Wow. He killed that guy... after following him for three minutes... and let the guy see him several times. Suspense? None what so ever. Blood? Yes.

Say, notty, wouldn't you get thrown out for that? bluetongue.gif (And you can say "hell" now, just so you know.)

Lol, I'm guilty for asking questions about that movie. I have a severe daydreaming problem (like 'I wonder how it would go if the movie went this way...'), so I'm usually the guy going 'OMG WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!'

I remember one time after a movie, I was walking back to the car and there was a father holding his son's hand ahead of me. The guy was completely flipping out about how his son 'wasn't walking right', and guess what he was yelling... 'What did I just tell you!!?! TOES FIRST!!' I couldn't get over that one. bluetongue.gif
