Favorite: ..bad category..er.. Gym? Lunch? biglaugh.gif Academically I guess math since it's easy, and I can work on robotically without having to think hard.

Hated: Better category, hehe. English used to be my favorite subject, but in high school I've grown to dislike it enough to the most of disliked. >_< Procrastination does not mix well with the 'essay class'.

Gym is a waste of a period. We only get half the credits for the normal time spot, we don't learn ANYTHING, and we don't even have fun.

As long as you put some effort into whatever you're doing it's fun. Although I don't like swimming like many people since it's just a hassle to change everyday for it. Easier to just throw on a T-Shirt and shorts for volleyball or whatever. bluetongue.gif

I don't see how you can hate Gym. PE was awesome last year when we had Mr. Syme. Fun to run around and play games and he even made swimming (my most hated part) enjoyable. Although Mr. Slocum made everything bad when he taught us. bluetongue.gif

Well for me... of all the subjects I take...

Likes: Spanish, Music

Hates: Music

Spanish is the awesome subject. I guess most language classes are in a way, that is, if you have a good teacher. Mr. Matthews lets us play around when we learn (in a way) and through that, we actually learn.

Music I love and I hate. I love it how mostly it's easy and that most of the periods we do nothing but sit around and play games like Lemmings or Glider on the old computers. I hate it because it's harder than all the other subjects I'm taking because I have to learn hard out performance pieces and identify a tonne of chord intervals for aural testing. bluetongue.gif

Favorite(s): Language Arts/Reading

Hated: HISTORY! And Math. And PE.

... Seriously, Language Arts is easy. And I'm good at it bluetongue.gif And my teacher knows it. I was gone for six days, and when I came back I asked her what I had to do to make up for the days I was gone, and she went on with this long list of hard stuff and an essay. So I asked that since she knew that I already knew it, if I could just get full credit and not have to do it, and she said yeah bluetongue.gif So I checked our online gradebook thing to see if she had and I had ^.^ And seriously... It's reading! You can't get much easier! You stare at a book and absorb the words written on pieces of paper into your mind!

History is t3h ebil. I have a good grade in it, but it's boring. And annoying. And stuff. I'm not good at it bluetongue.gif And Math is long and tedious and boring... And PE is unfun (yes, unfun), and our teachers suck, and they 'attempt' to make the stuff we do fun, but they fail miserably and make it worse. The only fun parts are when we have substitutes and we play dodgeball all day ^.^

Just run into people. Spice things up a bit. biglaugh.gif We have PDHPE Theory though (as opposed to PDHPE Practical, which is the running around part), in which we watch lots of those try hard shows (the ones that were made for K00l T33nag3rs), which are just the government trying to lower all those nasty looking suicide and underage pregnancy stats.

Since when has Reading been a subject? Only the people who can't read have reading class at our school.

I don't see how you can all hate History. I always tend to get on well with all the Language/HSIE teachers I've had so far, and none of you have to do Australian History, which is the only boring part we are going to have to endure.

Favourite subjects: LOTE, HSIE, Art, Practical PE (depends what sport we are doing), and maths, just because we have had good teachers.

Hated subjects: Music (waste of time), English, Science (we have the boringest teacher possible), Design & Technology (also a waste of time), PE Theory.

Seriously, you can't beat the boredom New Zealand History brings. bluetongue.gif

Last year, the figures for the History external exams showed that most people opted to choose to write essays on topics which didn't have much to do with New Zealand (Black Civil Rights, Conflict in Ireland, From Peace to War) and got relatively good marks however when they got to the compulsory New Zealand essay, most kind of switched off and failed.

I mean New Zealand history doesn't help us much. Not many people know what Rangiriri Pa is or where it's even located, let alone all the history behind it. Actually, I don't even think many New Zealanders even know what a Pa is. icon_sweatdrop.gif
