When a chat invite is posted in the open, members will generally come. When I posted the invite today, many did indeed come, but almost all left a few seconds after logging in, seeing no activity for which to stay.

Hehe, so if you want to come to an active chat, just hang tight for a little bit when in the chat and more will probably come. Then with more activity, others will stay. Then the chat will be active.

Just thought I'd say that, lol, because about 12 people signed into the chat, but they were almost all followed by swift "quit" messages.

Meh, I don't have time for the chat nowadays.

It is a lot of fun though, I recommend it for others who get the time. Just sign in, and if there's no activity, just minimize and check it occasionally (such as when you're in that 'transfer' screen in the forums).

I will generally come into the chat if I see a topic inviting people in. However, by the time I read a topic like that, is is usually several hours old and everyone has already left. So maybe it would be a good idea to post a topic saying people should come at "X" time; insted of saying people should come at that moment. That way it would give people a chance to come.
