Yeah, well, I've been having terrible problems with my computer lately.. Yesterday became the last straw, since it attacked everyone on my MSN lists and AIM lists that were on =\ Beforehand it was just using spyware to change my homepage and pop-up really dumb ads.

It's totally shut down any use of 'msconfig' and 'regedit', so I can't do anything.. and it won't let me use any virus scans, because each time I try to use them, it goes to this weird blue screen saying my computer is going through a memory dump or sommat.. didn't read because I freaked out and unplugged my compy as a reflex. I've had to uninstall AIM and MSN so the computer stops logging itself in and attacking my friends list. *Although* it's still using my computer's default Window's Messenger to log itself in my name and deliver links to those who are on my list >_<

The links say "Hey, is this you?", and it is hyperlinked to who knows what, but don't click it..meh. I'm sorry to whoever got that message last night, I couldn't control any of it, and I wasn't intentionally trying to hack anyone =\ I know some were upset with it since when I got on runescape a lot messaged me with "Why are you trying to hack me?" in some variation. I'm sorry.

I've been backing up some things and I'll be reformatting when I can find the restore CDs, the only problem is that I can't find them. If I can't find them, I'll be taking my computer to the shop tomorrow or monday to get it fixed, so I'm not sure how long I'll be gone.

Anyways.. I just wanted to say that I might be gone a little while and say sorry to those who got the link IMed to them last night

Hmm... I think you're on my AIM list (I haven't talked to you in forever) but I didn't see you on, anyway. This seems like a horrible problem.

Heh, if it makes you feel any better; I have never had a real virus on my home computer in my life. This is probably because I generally use Macs.

I wasn't on last night. I've had the fever since Wednesday night, so I've been sleeping most of the day since then and watching TV

This virus seems to be common, my friend had it a while back. I'm not sure what it is, but good luck fixing things Star .

I have one of those ones that changes my homepage and stuff, some evil adware stuff sent out by lop.com *nukes server*. It seems to like me though, and so now it only attacks other users on this computer, and not me.

It hasn't done any of the stuff which is happening to you know though, maybe they are two different viruses.
