Oric walks up. This was apparently the 'enlistment thread' his letter had told him to find. So where was the person who had sent him the letter?

"Oric?" said a voice behind him.

Oric spun around, and before him was a man who seemed very familiar... "And you are?" Oric said.

"An old friend," he said with a crooked smile, but he didn't elaborate. "I assume you got my letter? Yes, I supposed so. I wouldn't expect you to be here if you hadn't. Well then, I'll tell you what's going on. You are in space, a neverending expanse of near-nothingness beyond the skies of Earthia. Earthia is just one world within it. Your sun is also just one star in it. You are now in a space station, a station built by the Corrorian Rebels. We are now at war. War against Corroria, the Aphorites, and Karlorons. You can read about this war in this." Now he pauses, and hands Oric a small, see-through square of what Oric thought must be glass, but it felt much more sturdy. When he held it a certain way, words appeared and came out of the glass a few inches up.

"It's a hologram. It helps store the space of a book. And so anyways, I suggest you enlist with the Rebels here, and then go get yourself a spaceship over there." He points to something. "Don't worry, you'll catch onto the space thing soon enough. Just read that," he signalled to the 'hologram'. "And now I say goodbye! Perhaps we'll meet again someday." He turned on his heel and went around a corner.

Oric turned around and signed up on the enlistment thread.

IC: Drakien approaches the clerk and salutes. "Nice to know you got my email. Drakien Odinson at your service. Drakien moved his gaze away from the clerk and down to the form on the desk. He blushed. "Err, I can't read. The Corrorians did something nasty to my brain, you see. Can you just enlist me anyway? Thanks."

Drakien turned and walked out.
