While glancing around through the forest, you come across a rather large waterfall. The stream is a beautiful crystalline blue, and you can see many fish swimming about. As you approach the base of the waterfall, you can see a small ledge leading into a cave behind it! The ledge is very narrow, and it looks quite wet and slippery.

Aquiella nimbly steps up onto the ledge.

Lucy enters with Resiak, looking about and before long, spotting said waterfall. "Ahah! could this have been the waterfall they spoke of?...Appears to be the only one near by..." he leaned over to look down, spotting the fish. "Hrm. Fish. Means it's safe to drink." Tired from the long journey, he leaned over and sipped from the cool running water.

Resiak sat down against the trunk of a nearby tree and watched as Lucien drank. He was thirsty, but too tired to actually go get some water.
"I'll survive the night.." He whispered to himself, and drifted into a peaceful sleep next to the lulling roar of the waterfall.

Resiak: A skunk enters your tent and sprays you while you are sleeping. CHA - 50.


You all feel a slight uneasiness in the air... a strong will is pulling you towards the waterfall...

Resiak sleeps soundly through the attack of skunk, not realizing anything was out of place until his dreams shifted from life on his own to a horrendous smell.

Resiak woke up and looked himself over and sniffed the air some. "What.. in Aranels name?!" Resiak stood up and wretched at the smell. He immediately jumped into the nearby water to try and cleanse himself of the stench.

He doused himself over and over and over again, until the smell was somewhat weakened, though not gone completely. He emerged from the water and trudged back to another tree trunk and sat, waiting for Luciens next move.

A strange mystical energy wraps itself around you. The smell is gone and your skin feels moist and fresh.

Lucien sighed happily. His muscles, once atrophied and tired, now felt full of vigor and strength...Exactly as they should have many months ago. He watched as Resiak leaped into the water.

"Oh great...Now the water ain't worth drinkin..." he rolled his eyes with a weak smile. "Hmph..." he murmured, looking about, a little distressed. Tail showing it with a slight poofy flicker. "I feel uneasy about this place...'twould be a great ambushin' spot for any bandit or foe...But...'tis awkward that we've gone this long unpunished. What say we climb those rocks, maybe we can get a better look." Quickly, the young fox would scamper his way onto the rocky perch of a few decent boulders, looking about, and instead of finding much else, located the entrance of a cave behind the waterfall. Ofcourse. Waterfalls formed caves under them due to erosion. He'd call out to his partner. "Hey! There seems to be a cave here...Come about on the otherside and meet me in the middle...I wanna know what's under here." With that, he'd make it way down the rocks to the precarious ledge that led into the cave.

Resiak heard Luciens comment, but said nothing. He stood and attempted to squeeze behind the waterfall to access the cave behind. He stepped up onto the ledge.

You make your way across the ledge and behind the waterfall. Lucky for you, none of your party slipped. Once inside the cave, you peer off into the darkness. There are two thin streaming lines of faintly glowing blue water traveling the length of the tunnel on either side of you. The depths of the tunnel call you...

Resiak stood in awe of the cave. It's view was captivating. He took a few steps forward, studying the walls from the faint glow of the streams to the side.

Speechless, he looked on ahead and began to slowly walk down the passage, letting his eyes fully adjust to the darkness.

Lucien, thankfully, had the gift of nightvision, thanks to Nerzuul. (Quest)

Without problems, he'd carry on down the path, bright eyes a glow with green. "Hmm...Appears that water drains from this chasm into the water beneath the waterfall...Most curious...Perhaps -this- is where the life bearing water comes from, not the waterfall itself."

"Lucien, if you can see this well, please tell me where I am going. My eyes haven't adjusted yet." Resiak said. Then he remembered his Light Source skill.

"Lucien! Close your eyes! I have an idea." He said. Resiak raised his sword.

Light Source (0): EC=0; DP=0: Lights dark locations so anyone can enter. This will "stick" to the location until you leave.

Lucy shut his eyes in time, only to open them drearily to a world of light. Urf. Bright.

"Good thinking...Not sure how you did that...but...Okay." magic befuddled him...And he didn't know that this young man was a warrior of light, a paladin.

Now with a lit path, the two would carry on.
