- SeeD Court merged with RS Faction
- Study Hall consolidated into one forum
- Tutorial Center merged with Creativity Corner
- Event/Contest Forum Consolidated
- Event/Contest Forum renamed to "Event Board"
- Signature Center moved to the Cafeteria
- Post count incrementation disabled in the Signature Center. Therefore, don't hesitate to post repeat threads if your sig changes.
- Book/Literature Forum merged with Media Discussion.
- Hosted forums archived. Sorry about that, they were out there much longer than originally intended, and most had overlaps with the official forums. Most also went almost completely inactive.
- DarkStorm reorganized and made into a root category.
I think that's enough for one sweep.

And The Reasoning For The Madness!
There are a few areas of activity here, where members tend to focus and where members could potentially focus. Forums like Media Discussion and Creativity Corner cumulatively had some activity, but would be better off with more... And merging some less-used forums of similar purposes with them can help with that.
There were also some subforums that need not be separated from their parent forums. One forum in particular (the Study Hall) was chewed up into pieces, not receiving the activity originally expected and turning it into an array of dead forums. Merging them broadens the forum's scope and keeps threads together.
As for the Signature Center being moved, it's more a technicality than anything else. The general rule of thumb about the Stuff Category (General Discussion, the Cafeteria, and the Insanity Board) is that nothing that is appropriate for our board would be moved outside the category without a direct reason such as the topic starter requesting a move. This is so we can have a higher traffic forum (with lower thread life) for those threads members intend for an untargetted audience. Many boards, from Sony Online Entertainment to Blizzard to RSC to Shinra, have a forum of that sort, so it's not unusual. Signature threads don't belong in General Discussion, though... So to keep things organized I pulled the Signature Center to the top as a sub forum of the Cafeteria, where such threads actually make sense. To finish the job, I freed up that forum by disabling post count incrementation, so members are free to post as many signature threads as they'd like.
As for DarkStorm, we're working on some major updates and activity there is rising. It is something that we offer here that isn't merely a discussion forum, and I'm trying to help it grow by giving it more visibility and making it easier for members to keep up-to-date with what's going on. Also, I made the Colosseum open to everyone, even to those who don't currently have official characters. Battle threads can be roleplayed or go by the official rules, it's up to whoever organizes the battle. I just ask that anyone who posts there at least becomes a little familiar with the skills and the story behind all of this, and not just go roleplaying whatever they want.
Anyway, hopefully these updates will help keep things better organized, more active, and easier to find.
