The Saintly glow continues....the egg starts to crack. As it splits open, a baby gryphon (about the size of an average mare) flies into the air and circles Reikin's head, giving a happy sqwak. It lands next to Reikin and nudges his elbow.

He strokes the baby gryphon softly.
"I shall call you... Elhrim."

Neraphym concludes that the only way to fight this dragon is in the air. He dashes over to the corrupt egg and leans in to touch it.... a malicious smile darts across Neraphyms face as his diamond sharp fingers caress the surface of the egg.

[Snowy]

The egg glows dark black and then blood red. The egg hatches.... a dragon steps out of the remains and stares at Neraphym. It shows no sign of thanks, all it does is look at it's mother as an enemy and waits for Neraphym's affirimative action. It looks exactly like the large version in the Colosseum.

Neraphym stares into the Dragon's eyes.

"Lohengrin... that is your name."

Neraphym walks up to the dragon and strokes the scales on its neck. Being wary of the spikes on his back, he jumps on Lohengrin's back and takes off into the air.

Reikin strokes the gryphon a bit more, and then carefully gets on it.
"Fly, Elhrim!" It squawks loudly and quickly lifts into the air. Reikin slips a little but quickly corrects himself as he gets used to riding the gryphon.

Lohengrin flies Neraphym in close to Slain. Neraphym drags his daggers of doom across Slain's stomach as he flies on by.

OOC: ... Someone's going a bit spastic with rewards for doing such a small thing. After all, that battle was what... ten turns? And they've already gotten flying mounts and 25k cinii each?


Drathonian gives out a demented laugh, saying, "Canter! What a fun name! ^^" Yes. He somehow managed to pronounce '^^'. Anyway, later, he would then proceed to be all like.. "OMGWTFBBQ! They killed Canter!" He breaks down and cries. Negative twelve and a half seconds later, but yet somehow far enough in the future that the dragon has already appeared and crap, he is no longer sad and has become angry. "WOMG DIE!" he yells, leaping down towards the two combatants. He draws his Sword of Uber Slashiness and his Axe of WOMG Awesomity and throws them with deadly accuracy at Reikin and Neraphym's necks. They'd probably then cower in fear and such since they're so puny or whatever, and they know they don't have a chance to do a thing before they die, but, unfortunately, since Drathonian somehow managed to suck enough that the Lord Darkilinikus sat on him. Which means he's not a valid character anymore. Thus, when the weapons are only an inch from their marks, they dissolve. Then Drathonian does too.

OoC: Cspace okayed it, and the gryphon was a pure rp fight basically. The dragon will be pure stats, even with the new mounts it should be a problem.
