This is all there is to it.
No one is forced to dive into their stats and classes if they don't want to worry about them. Everything else is basically common sense, especially with this experimental change to the rules (just "leave" one place and "enter" somewhere else). If you want to have a character that is suitable for everything, it's still not that hard to get started, you just need to choose a race and class and stick your points somewhere. Battles are also common sense, basically just turn-by-turn unless an ability says otherwise. The intricacies aren't always applicable and can be referred to if necessary.
All of the "rules" are in the "DStorm Rules" block, except for those involving the conflicts which are optional. We follow the general logic of most RPGs, it may look like a lot of rules but I really just detailed everything so little is left to interpretation.
None of us bite except Darkness and maybe Snowy, it wouldn't hurt to try.
Besides, never underestimate the post count incrementing possibilities here.
... And with the class update coming, everything will be standardized, so it'll become more simple. No use waiting for the update to get started, but know that it's coming.
