To be fair, the community was still pretty poor for a lot of RSC. It wouldn't surprise me if it has worsened a bit since then, but it was by no means ideal at the time.

I would play RSC, but I couldn't log in last time I tried, I'll try again though.

I loved RSC, fatigue was my bitter enemy though >_>

To when are you referring?
Those who will remember, will speak fondly of the warm morning breeze.

I didn't say it hadn't got worse, just that it was never very good. And I've played the game plenty to be able to tell that. bluetongue.gif

Well as far back as I've been playing there's been quite a lot of begging, greed and elitism. It's just the type of game it is, especially since you can play for free and even if you pay, it's cheaper than most other online games. Like I said, it wouldn't surprise me at all if the community has been worsening over time, but memories about the rsc community are probably partly idealized by now.

The wilderness used to be everywhere outside of Lumbridge before moved North.
All rocks used to look identical, and you didn't know when ore was spawned.
Each action required a click. You couldn't click fishing spots and fish until your inv was full.
Armor took up INV spaces even when equipped.
2H swords looked like dggers, Scimitars, short swords and longswords.
Kiteshields looked like Squareshields.
You didn't breathe.
The walls were paper thin.
There were no action movements to go with anything.

Hehe, I don't remember the first two, and I find the first one hard to believe. O.o It must have been really hard to play then.

Also, how you could hear people's conversations with NPCs all the time? And how you had to compete with other players to talk to an NPC?
I have trademarked the symbol: '™'. You fail at display names.

^ Thanks to Nazy for the... thingy ^

Things which you should look at:

SKoA - http://skoa.cspacezone.com/ , if you have any Age of Empires games.

The DS Garden Festival Minigame - Link , whether you play DStorm or not.

The Most Mysterious SSSS - Link For people who don't care about...things.

Like LEGO? Play Blockland!

I may be an Arbiter, but I'll always be a SeeDy little man.™™

Only one person could talk to an NPC at the time. And NPC's chat was just like players;

NPC: Please can you help me deliver this message?
Me: Yes. Sure, who to?
NPC: My son. He works for Knights of Ardounge.
Me: Ok, I must be going now.

A bit like that anyway.

If another guy talked to the same guy as you, I think you wouldn't be able to watch both chats at the same time...

And Ech, is\was Messiahs APK?

No, it was Sabres+ VS. Messiahs-.

Sabres were formed from King Sabre I believe, after Messiah smashed him a few times in the wilderness.
