ECC Vocations & Departments

I have a proposal for a new rule: One can only join the ECC officially if one joins an official department and gets an official vocation there (similar to SeeD positions, only ECC specific).

Here is some possible departments I've thought up:

Construction - For faction members who have proven that they can build skillfully. Possible vocation names: Builder, Constructor, Construction Worker, Artificer, Craftsman.

Hosting - This department is in charge of getting servers up and keeping them running.

PR - There to make the faction look good. Vocations could include recruitment, event hosting and some clan relations.

Security - In charge of ~~blockspamming USSR~~ keeping our stuff away from marauders. Also for good deathmatch/C&R players. In charge of any negative clan relations too.

*possible for future* Management - If the anarchic system turns out to not work in the end, we can always get a management department.

Anyway, tell me what you think.

I like the positions, but quite frankly I disagree with FORCING someone to do something, and in my oppinion all positions should be for those who wish to help. Also, on the blockspamming, I disagree because it may be funny, but at the same time it would give us a bad reputation imo.

It was a joke, Kimo. Anyway, I got banned from a USSR server for blockspamming, even though it was just a semi finished house me and Nate made. One may build something perfectly decent on USSR Primary and it would be classed as spam.

Alright, but I think people will want to be in a department anyway. We will just encourage them, not force them.
