What came first, the chicken or the egg? Really, which came first?

I think the chicken came first, because without a chicken, they're can't be an egg, but then where did the chicken come from...

I think the egg first hatched from some other animal and was mutated thus forming a new species, the chicken

Well, my definition for a chicken egg is an egg laid by a chicken. After all, you go to the store and buy chicken eggs without embryos. So I figured any egg laid by a chicken is a chicken egg, regardless of the state of, or lack of, the embryo. That then means any egg laid by a non-chicken is not a chicken egg, regardless the 'species' of the embryo inside it.

Therefore, I think the chicken came before the chicken egg. :O
(The first part was just an explanation for my logic)

Well, by that definition, you're right. Sadly, that is the wrong definition. The question has nothing to do with chicken eggs.

It's chicken or egg. Nothing in there about a chicken egg.
