Actually, Darky. The fact on which we have a nose does not mean you don't stink.
If we have no nose, -WE- don't smell. Period.

I was speaking from the perspective of the one with no nose. For from their perspective, without a nose, I have no stench -- be it good or bad Of course it would be good, though, since Darky smells.. good!

But as the person would have no nose, they wouldn't be smelling anything. So they wouldn't know what good or bad smelled like. So it would honestly be difficult to differentiate between your aroma. However, just because the person is unable to smell you, still does not mean you don't reek of slaughterhouse. You could smell of tunafish gone bad, but it would be undetectable by the person. Meaning you don't smell -GOOD-.

The person who has no nose, doesn't smell good, either. They don't smell very well, at all.

Then therein lies the error of your post. As you say you have no stench, you cannot say you smell... good. If I understand you correctly, you're saying that because you are in possession of a nose, you have the ability to smell. . . Good.

However, you hold an error when you type that. Since you reportedly have no stench at all (And don't smell like a backed up sewer lift station like I had envisioned..), you shouldn't say you smell (...) good, because you don't.

You smell "Well".

That is if I understand you correctly in the terminology you use. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Wrong again! I did not say that because I have a nose, I personally can smell... good. I said that because other people have a nose, they can smell me and verify that I do indeed smell... good. Lack of a nose merely means that you cannot tell whether or not I smell... good, for everything is stenchless to you (if you have no nose). I am in fact full of a lovely stench, but it is merely the perceptions of the noseless that deceive them into believing I have no smell. The fact that they have no nose does not change the fact that I smell... good.

Yes, I do believe after sifting through.. Most of the previous pages that the conversation I had with Darkness was probably the one with most coherency. But of course.. What could you expect from something that involved me? Sure I had the potential to make the best of the thread.

Darkness, the fact that you add the "..." before each of the "Good"s in your post are what confuse me. If you were to remove them, it'd be a lot clearer what point you were trying to make. When you put them, it can be taken in three ways, if I've understood it correctly.

So instead of smelling... Good, can't you just smell good/well/decently/good?
