This is quite old, and I think it a whole load of nonsense.

I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but what do YOU think?

The End Of The World

*didn't actually read it then, but presumes it is about the Mayan long count ending on December, 2012*
I'm not going to stress about that day, and I'll probably only be curious as to whether anything will happen the day before, considering I'll be too busy finishing my second year of what ever course I will be studying in which ever university at that time. As many of people have said before, to be more specific, it would be the end of the world as we know it, not the end of the world altogether.
In my opinion, I don't believe anything will happen if you don't think anything will happen. To quote Douglas Adams, "Some believe that if any one individual was to know the Ultimate Question and the Ultimate Answer the universe would instantly transform itself into something more inexplicable." So if some great event happened, I doubt anyone would notice. In any case, it is more likely than the Biblical apocalypse.

Haha those Jehova people have changed their end of the world day about 20 times by now.
Nothing to stress with, the end of the world is when the sun goes out in about 20 billion years.

Actually, I think I'd give it around... 1020 - 1050 years before the end of the world. But anyway... As for the 2012 thing, I'd just disregard it. The worst thing that would happen is some terrorists attack places trying to get people scared because it's the 'end of the world' XD

I don't really think a civilisation that didn't even discover the wheel is qualified to be an authority on when the world will end.
I agree. Since the aliens gave us the wheel, they should decide when it ends.
