Excuse me, where I'm from "Had fun" means I started doing what I needed to in large amounts. Ever heard the term "Went to town"? Or "Had a field day"? Something like that. But that's just where I'm from.

And we tried poison, and we tried to put decoys that made sounds to scare them away. We did what we had to do.

I can imagine. it takes a certain kind of imagination to fully understand the word of a Southerner.

I dare say, you fellows have it easier than most though, with me being the intelligent Southerner I am, I make it much simpler to understand myself.

It's odd, though. For example, Base was from Florida, which is even closer to the equator than myself, yet I am considered more Southern. He's considered from the east coast. It's the French backgrounds and Cajun heritage. <3.

Most of Florida is considered part of the east coast because the culture is much different than most of the South. That is due mainly to tourism and the melting pot of retirees from all over the country.

I'm just stating the irony that most of Ark-La-Miss is considered the South when there are indeed places with a longitude closer to the equator than us. bluetongue.gif

Cultures are worlds apart from state to state, however. O.o it's amazing there can be so much diversity over such a small area of land. The differences on how people act or do things.

Northern states may be better in education, but the South will always have better food.

British people shoot things unnecessarily too, only other British people complain about it, and there are philistines in Queensland who shoot pigs and birds and foxes and things, but they're from Queensland. bluetongue.gif

Don't take it personally, by the way. If any other nation was the most powerful in the world I'd oppose it instead. For example, I don't quite agree with, say, The People's Republic of China's policies, but because of the fact that it doesn't try to force its ways on other countries and do so while putting on a mask of justice and moral perfection I don't complain. In other words, it is not simply xenophobia but more opposition to dominant nations in general. This reminds me of a certain show, in which a certain PR firm is employed by the American embassy. The resulting clip they showed was of a city bustling with people and with European-style trams running along the middle. As the camera moved down the street you saw cinemas showing posters of The Last Train to Zurich, before entering a fast food outlet called "Fondue", where the young worker was asking a customer if he would like the William Tell figure with his glückliche mahlzeit. This was followed by a frame, displaying the words: "If there needs to be a superpower, thank god it isn't Switzerland", and then: "Why everyone loves America".
I have trademarked the symbol: '™'. You fail at display names.

Therefore ruining the point of this not being a conversation thread.
