It's sometimes fun to go to the back of a forum and see what old stuff you can find.

Here's a thread for you to link what you find significant or particularly amusing. bluetongue.gif Say what it is though, don't just provide blind links to threads all over the forums. A hint for everyone is that an old forum has a low number in its URL, so that's where you'll usually find the oldest threads. Since these forums were originally the SeeD forums, most of the oldest forums are SeeD-related.

How long is a piece of thread? How long is a significant piece of thread?

So many questions, so few answers...*sigh*

It is as if I am a boy playing on the sea-shore, and diverting myself in now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me...I just get worried I might drown or something you see, and if you don't wear goggles while swimming in the great ocean of truth your eyes get all stingy you see. And there are all those big truth-jellyfish and truth-bluebottles and things. On the whole, the great ocean of truth seems to be full of things which sting and bite and try to eat you. Quite undesirable indeed. Stupid Newton.

It is early morning. I am allowed to ramble on about nothing in particular. Don't you threaten me with sticks and things, you! I'm going to bed now! To sleep! Perchance, to dream! Aye, there's the rub. For in that sleep of death what dreams may come when we have shuffled off this mortal coil? Probably just the usual bull...

Things which you should look at:

SKoA - http://skoa.cspacezone.com/ , if you have any Age of Empires games.

The DS Garden Festival Minigame - Link , whether you play DStorm or not.

The Most Mysterious SSSS - Link For people who don't care about...things.

A thread is as long as the person who cut it wished for it to be.

And you seem to be mistaking the ocean of truth for a whole realm of evil, while it is much like a grocery store - some very good things, as well as some icky stuff. One learns to avoid the icky stuff, thus adding to the ocean of truth. ;D

But one must ask...what lies on the other side of the ocean of truth? _sure.gif

Bet you Newton didn't know that! He probably didn't even think it through very much!

There is more truth. If there was much beyond an ocean of truth, wouldn't -that- be the truth?

So what is beyond the ocean of truth is more truthful than the ocean itself? bluetongue.gif You've lost me there. bluetongue.gif

No, there is more truth beyond truth, or nothing at all! If there was something else beyond truth, something we do not know about, that would be truth as well, because it is real, whatever it is.

... If that didn't make any more sense, tell me, I might be able to explain again. xD

That's for us to decipher as individuals. Half the journey to this ocean of truth you speak of.

I'm replacing this thread with one that has a larger scope.
