1) Remove the divisions. I set them up originally thinking that members would want positions, and that the divisions would provide a lot of them. Unfortunately very few of us seem to want to lead, so having divisions will only get in the way. Consolidation may be what we need right now.

2) Remove the shop. There are technical reasons that I want to remove it, and I'm not sure what it's accomplishing right now.

4) SeeD will be our mercenary force, and not our gaming division. We're technically a gaming-centered site, so we don't really need a gaming division. We can still have events, shops, and everything else. I still believe that we should try the mercenary service, though, and we may as well keep the "SeeD" name for that since SeeD is, after all, a mercenary force.

5) DoA will be the same. Just reassuring our GW players that it won't be consolidated with the rest.

1) Why get rid of divisions? You're right very few people want to lead, and as such more need to volunteer. I volunteer!

Let me explain:

Our actual "member base" is small due to not having many people actually "active", and those that do play many different games. Those that do play the same games tend to get bored, etc, and not hold events-this will change on my end soon.

I plan to get active a lot more in RuneScape, as well as posting RuneScape videos on YouTube, and there is currently talk about a CspaceZone channel on YT. I say we could post A LOT of videos about Cspacezone.

I'm all for a leadership position.

4) Hmm, it would also be wise to have a place where people know they can post ANY thing Gaming-Related. It seems like some people forget that Balamb Garden isn't for just "RuneScape news", etc.

1) Agree with Kimo. Few people want to lead because there isn't really enough activity for us to need more leaders. And it doesn't really make sense to divide a small group.

With divisions I don't really mind either way, to tell the truth. Divisions are good for some things, but only if enough are willing to lead. If members don't take advantage of them, the divisions would just make things unnecessarily complicated. If members do take advantage of them, more will be able to lead and we will more easily be able to handle many things at once. We will also have more potential for growth and insanity.

It just depends on how much ambition our members have.

Future updates, and third-party mods have a higher security risk. I just have a thing about unnecessary code.

1.) Don't think you should get rid of the divisions. Maybe the intellectual division, since I feel like that can be managed by moderators instead of being it's own faction. But the appeal of being in a leadership position, and the feeling of actually making those decisions and making a contribution for other members.. that's big.
