[Pureblade]

In a blur of movement the cobra stands, developing legs and arms almost faster than the eye can follow. Slinging the scimitar in an outward arc and following with a flurry of attacks, Neo advances on the lycan. Aiming for the vulnerable limbs seems like the best idea for now.

[Snowy]

The spider darts onto the ceiling, which is higher than Neo can reach. It is directly above him, ready to attack if provoked.

[Pureblade]

Neo swiftly slings the scimitar straight up towards the spider, pulling back on the whip as he does.

[Snowy]

The scimitar struck the lowest leg on the left side of the spider's body. The spider shrieked in agony, and flung itself and Neo. The scimitar is stuck in the ceiling, facing blade up.

[Pureblade]

Neo rolls backwards, hand still around the rope. Expecting the spider's leap, but not the shriek, he is slightly disoriented. He still manages to pull a leg up and aim a slight kick at the spider's (vulnerable?) underside.

[Snowy]

Neo's glancing blow only further enrages what was once a little girl. The spider is now on top of Neo, about to dig it's pincers into his carcass.

[Pureblade]

Neo grimaces, wrapping both hands around the rope and jerking as hard as possible. The arrow-head slices through the thin tip of the whip, sending the lashing weapon towards the spider's eyes. Neo also rolls over onto his stomach.

[Snowy]

By pure luck, the whip lashes across the spider's eyes, making it blind. It stomps it heavy legs on the floor of the cell, and the scimitar is loosed from it's lodging. It falls, blade first, into the spider's back. The spider shrieks in pain.

[Pureblade]

Neo springs into a crouching position and launches at the spider, plunging his hand claw-like into the lycan's remaining eyes. Squeezing as hard as he can, he attempts to crush the 'head' of the monster.

[Snowy]

Neo soon realizes his attempt is futile. The creature's head is simply too large. Meanwhile, the spider goes into a rampage, throwing it's not inconsiderable weight around the cage, scimitar still wedged in it's back.

[Pureblade]

OOC: Neo retreats into the matrix.

BIC: Neo flips forward, landing on the spider back and yanking the scimitar out with a squelching sound. Not able to maintain his balance, Neo slings the whip around one of the creature's legs, sliding off into a crouching position.

[Snowy]

The spider continues it's howls of agony. The whip trips the spider, sending it crashing into the bars of the cage wall. You hear a rather sickening gushing sound as the spider's head encounters the steel.

[Pureblade]

Neo yanks the spider towards him by the leg, flipping it onto it's back. He then dashes forward and plunges the scimitar straight down towards the exposed underside..

[Snowy]

The scimitar slices through the chest cavity, forcing the spider's ribcage open and it's insides exposed.

Neo hears a slightly shaking voice behind him, "I think it's dead." The servant looks absolutely terrified. The cage door swings open, and the servant, apparently higher up on the food chain, motions towards the cage and a cleaning crew enters, disposing of the spider remnants.

[Pureblade]

Neo bows his head and offers a prayer to Konadar.

He then rises, turning towards the servant.

"What purpose did she play in all this?" he asks quietly. "Why was she here?"

His pale eyes pierce the servants questioningly.
