Obviously we cannot give moderation to everyone who starts a faction, however there are a few conditions which can allow a leader to qualify for it:
- Leader is not a SMod (if one is, there isn't much point in moderation being given)
- Leader has been active in SeeD a while and has shown enough responsibility for a limited mod position
- The faction has not undergone too many "permanent" leader changes (or any recent ones). There needs to be stability, because once I make one a mod of the forum we shouldn't have to keep changing it around.
- The faction should appear somewhat active, at least from the forum's perspective.
If it is decided that a leader can be a mod, it will not change his/her member group. The mod powers also will only include closing/opening and pinning/unpinning topics, all that should be necessary for running the forum.
Just thought I'd post about this, if you would like to request modship (and are an active faction leader) just PM me.

This may create a lot of 'hopefuls', who just make a faction to be a mod. I don't see the real point in being a mod, half of the active members are mods...
I have trademarked the symbol: '™'. You fail at display names.
