*Nemrick enters the shrine*

Nemrick walks toward the center of the shrine, where dark energy is amassing. He bows low and honors his master, and then reaches out and touches the orb.

OOC:Had to try it...wonder what will happen?

OOC: Not much...You're just surrendering life force energy to help Lord Nerzuul convert Aderon into a burning and evil place. >)

Lucien sits back in a corner of the cozy shrine and rests as he watches the said Nemrick hone energy for Nerzuul. He now contemplates deserting Nerzuul and going out on his own...Since ofcourse, Nerzuul is not showing any great love as of now. Before it was like father and son, King and Prince, now it was savant and wind.

[Darkness]

As Oric starts to leave Aderon, he passes the shrine, and it seems to draw him to it. As he steps inside, he walks to a bench in a corner and sits down. Suddenly, he seems to be overcome by a inner-demon. He body goes rigid, his eyes turn a flaming red, and then he faints, right there in the corner.

Lucien looks over to Oric...Pauses...Then smiles with a laaaaarge sneering grin >) Hehehe...Leaning over he'd poke the lifeless body once or twice before wincing his large vulpine ears and leaning in closer. He'd attempt something verrry scandalish >)

Lucien reaches into a pocket on Oric's cloak, and pulls out a small book with elvish lettering on the front. As you withdraw your hand, Oric hand whips around and *attempts* to grab your wrist. If he suceeds, he then turns his head towards you with the flaming red eyes that he had when he fainted. If he fails, he remains lifeless.

OOCA: Yeah, he had gained control again over the 'seed' (if you don't know what I'm talking about, read Oric's background), but when he stumbled to this place of great evil it took over again.

OOC: Yeah...Pity...Darn..

Lucien recoils to his violent gesture and immediately swings the book down on his wrist. The book meant nothing to him...He couldn't read Elvish. (I'm limiting myself to one pickpocket on each person every two days... So yeah...Successful pickpocket that is.) Wringing at his wrist he'd scowl. "Not worth my time..." He said before quickly seating himself back in his corner.

OOC: I knew he wasn't dead...Just...When you faint you're usually lifeless looking

OOC: Bah, I'm bored, so I guess I'll do something cheesy.

IC: Oric's body spasms, then shakes a little and stuff. He suddenly stands up, his eyes back to normal. He then looks around the shrine, a look of bewilderment on his face. Apparently, he had no recollection of coming here. His wrist throbbed, and then he spotted his 'Lord of Chaos' book lying on the bench he had been sitting on. He picked it up and placed it in his pocket. Then he sees a ferret( )-man sitting on the bench near him. The ferret-man was scowling and looking in Oric's direction. Oric had no clue why, and stared straight back. Oric was only a teen, so what was he supposed to know what to do?

Nemrick rises from the orb, and looks back at the scene that had occured behind him. He then examines his hands, which have turned a scarlet color and burn slightly. He feels exhausted, but doesn't trust sleeping in Ner'zhuls temple with the lycanthrope nearby. Speaking telepathically to his partner, he asks for a pickup. Until then, he decides to wait near the orb, where he atleast hopes he will be safer.

OOC: Oooh, ferret vs. teen....this could get interesting.

Lucien pursed his lips and looked right back to Oric...He wasn't a "Ferret Man"! -.-''' How insulting. Squinting he'd turn his head. "You're that guy that went into a blood thirsty rage on me at the bar...Aren't you?...Mmm...Looks like I keep bumping into you guys from that place all the time." He meant this because he had first seen Xin, and now him. He never had the pleasure of meeting the others, Xanthor and Hanako. Turning he'd rest himself against the wall. "Nice book...What does it say?" He asked out of the blue. Despite him being older...He really wasn't any taller. Due to being half animal, especially fox, his growth was stunted and hair grew longer.

Oric looked back at the Ferret-Man(Okay I'll stop ) puzzled; Bloodthirsty rage at the bar? What is he talking about? Oric decided to think nothing of it. So he went on to the next question.
"Its called The Lord of Chaos.." Oric wasn't a very talkative person; his past had made him not very sociable.

[Ruckus Fox]

Lucien stuck out his dagger and tapped at the leather that bound the book (or most did those days.) "Yes..." He started, "That much, I know...But...What is it about? And what purpose do you have with it?" He didn't exactly sound extreamly friendly. His voice a little gruff at the starting and ending of each word as if he were killing Oric with his gaze alone. The "Ferret-man" had that appearance on people.

[Darkness]

Oric diverted the end of the dagger tip from his book. He didn't like other people touching it; it was the only thing that he had from his village.
"It's about a boy from a village who finds out he has magical powers."
Oric sent a cold, hard stare right ack at Lucien.

[Ruckus Fox]

Lucien remained still for a moment, then reverted his dagger backwards to slide up his sleeve. "I see..." He lied, "So...What are you doing here? Another one of Nerzuul's mystical followers? Haha!" He laughed as he rolled and popped his neck. "Or is it because you have no god? Like me? An atheist perhaps?" He smirked and pointed his index finger horizontally before cozying into the corner. "Far from the path, I'd say." He murmured as he threw his hood up and relaxed. ^^ Cozy!

Oric bent his head sideways and looked at the ferr- errrrr fox-man.
"I don't know why I'm here. The last thing I remember was walking in here for no apparent reason, and the only thing before that was walking on The High Road(did they change it's name?)." Oric studied foxies face for a moment. He seemed to be a thing of many mysteries, who didn't quite know his path. "If you don't have a god, why are you here? In search of favor with Nerzuul? All of his 'awards' are lies. I suggest not to believe a word he says."

Rhyo and Ryo, after being drawn toward the orb for many miles, come closer and observe their surroundings.

They see several other dark allies. they come closer and join the conversation.
