0.o WOW I'm confused...

I thought that faction thing was a problem when a bunch of people pulled a WWI style system of alliances, and ended up spitting on each other's shoes...

Am I totally ignorant, or did I just miss something?

Meetings could be good fun.

Then again, if we didn't want to exclude people who don't play Runescape, and don't want the problem of having heaps of random people showing up and not being able to get people to shut up...

We could hold meetings on #SeeDChat. We get one of the leaders (all of whom should have OP powers by now, give me a PM if you've registered for it and don't) to run it, anybody that has any news to say can say it, and we can always jump onto RS for events afterwards. Any troublemaking random people can just be kicked out, and if people won't shut up they could always be muted so announcements can get out. bluetongue.gif

I think having it every second week would be good, or maybe have weekly meetings but change the time a little on the second week so different people can make it.

Hehe, definition has changed in SeeD bluetongue.gif

http://www.cspacezon...p?showforum=185

The factions to which I am referring are branches of SeeD in other games. Anyone can start and lead a faction in any game regardless of genre (as long as it's online and capable of having guilds/clans). Please check out the Guild Hall if you're interested in seeing more. thumb.gif

I didn't go with meetings since they're too difficult based on past experiences. icon_sweatdrop.gif I'd of course like to see more events. There's been a large drop in them, but that's expected since we're pulling away from RuneScape worshipping (bluetongue.gif) and moving into other games. So I'm with Faction unity and then events. Maybe we can make a temporary sub-forum for SeeDs to post ideas of events for other games. Then we'll gather them all up and get some going. We've asked for leaders for factions, we've just got to make them now. If you play any other game you need to go PM the leader of that faction and tell them you're in and want to help get it going. Believe me, every single person can help. When someone sees someone willing to help out it encourages them to keep going, even if the person hasn't been in SeeD too long. We've got to do our best to get factions built and make sure they stay together and don't fall apart so that we can recruit in-game.

I chose events. I've only been to one event so far and it was great. I had a great time just being on runescape and talking with friends. It tends to get a little insane every once in awhile, but thats a good thing. The event I went to was the insanity raid..so of course it was insane biglaugh.gif
But the point is, I haven't seen that many events that occur in-game. I had a good time, and I think alot of other people would also like to see an increase in events.

Draggy, about your sub-forum thing. Something that's been occuring to me is we don't really have a place for suggestions other than when they're for SeeD itself. I'm thinking maybe a sub-forum or two for the Suggestions board would be worthwhile, maybe one like you say, hopefully another one with possible runescape ideas. Most other runescape boards tend to have a place where people can write up their own suggestions, but mostly ours have just been swamped in SeeD Inn.

Plus it might get some more traffic flowing to Suggestions, even though it's right near the top not all that many people view it/use it. bluetongue.gif

Suggestions isn't used very much since SeeD doesn't really need changes. bluetongue.gif What we need is to try to use what we have in a fun way. An example is quality of our forums. We have very few problems with the forums and conflicts right now and everything's going good, so we could spice it up with things like forum events.

Just think about it: What did you wish we could do that we couldn't during conflict periods?

To get events up and running I believe we should be hosting them in all the factions we're moving into. I say instead of going to any game a SeeD is in, we lock on two only a few other games that have the most SeeD players. Then we get some leaders to maintain the factions and get events running in them. bigcheek.gif

Once that's done we can start recruiting people in-game into SeeD and into those factions so that they can help run it and keep it going. That one of the biggest issues with these things, keeping it going. You can tire of things quickly online and want to switch to something new, so if we keep having events that are different and in several games it'll keep everybody interested. bigcheek.gif
