Been a while since I posted a thread in Study Hall, hehe, but this is probably the least technical so far. deal.gif

I don't have time to explain exactly but I am doing some comparative analysis of UFO sightings. I don't plan on figuring out what they are, hehe, but maybe provide a little insight because I have been thinking of something which is possibly quite interesting with sightings even before powered flight. In the end this could be pretty interesting but we'll see if it goes anywhere. This could take a while though.

I will need as many images, locations, and dates of as many real UFO sightings as possible.

When I say "real UFO sightings" I mean anything that has not been identified. A "UFO" does not have to be extraterrestrial in origin necessarily, it could be built here. It is anything that has not been identified.

I am not saying that some were from another planet or anything, I am just trying to see what the real possibilities are - of Earth origin, environmental "illusions", and possibly otherwise...

It would be great if you could reply with serious images of UFO's with dates/locations/sources (the URL of the site) if possible. There are many sites which have them, and the more images and information is provided the better (even of the same sightings). I will explain more later of what I am doing when I get the chance.

Thanks!

Note: It is possible that absolutely nothing will come from this, but there is a chance that this could be interesting in the end. It depends on whether certain aspects that I am looking for turn up or not.

Aye, go on google.com, go to images, and search for "ufo" or "ufo sightings" or something.

this could be interesting, i'll keep an eye out for anything worth adding. (and try hard to resist using my insane skills to make a bunch of fake UFO stuff).
did you ever see a discovery chanel thing about ufo's and they showed video of these things that seem to "play" around base jumpers? sort of a whispy streak, looks almost like there trying to protect the people. (these peope in the video where basjumping into a cave or somthing) anyway, for some reason, i've always thought that was the best evidence of UFO's being intelegent. true, it could be faked, but for some reason, it didn't seem like it.

You can't always get correct information from them such as locations or dates. Google also has a bad habit of repeating the same (or similar) image over and over if one happens to be used on more than one site, and eventually the image directory becomes off-topic providing a relative dead-end.

It's a good place to start though, I use Google Images for many things when I need to quickly find something. TheSmile.gif

If that is real it is quite cool, you know what paper that is from?

I know the sightings from space exist (mostly of satellites around Earth), if any others which are similar can be found please don't hesitate to post them.

No, I don't know what paper it's from. I just found it on google. I'll see if there's anything on the site that I found it on.

EDIT: Here's the site I found it on.

Cspace this is the place for ya Mufon if you dont find everything you need here you prolly wont find it any where else. that is partly becuase they link to other significant sites, so don't forget to check out there links(they are not actual links but they give you the info)...

for what you are specificaly searching for though. sad to say it is hard to find one place with every single sighting every reported... the way to go about it is searching on "recent ufo sightings" . after you type that in type in a time frame into the search engine example:"Recent UFO Sightings 1995" or "Recent UFO Sightings 1856-1885". also typing general eras in like " UFO Sightings In Middle age erouope". will get you resualts for that stuff that came before a time when there was a specific place to report it to.

I also must say that in your search you will prolly' find that the road your traveling down has already been well traversed, however if you can make some new observations, well it would be interesting to see your overall conclutions in a year or two when they are done(the only proper time frame one can be expected to do any thing in the way of this sort of research within)...dont loose to much sleep over this( I lost a good 6 months of my life delving as deep as I could). and good luck with your venture thumb.gif
