No way. It is really expense to be a mage so its already hard. It doesn't need to be any harder.

If they changed it mages would be massivly over powered. Fighters got to fish or buy food. Fishing is the most boring skill! Mages(and archers) can attack throught fences and stuff. They can cheap the blue dragon at the heros, while the fighters are comdemned to haveing to switch worlds to even get a chance at the dragon.They should not chage it!

There isent actuly two roles as a warrior or a mage your just a warrior in general. Mage is just something you have to pay for. In other words you want to use magic its going to cost you.

I think that mage is good just how it is. It might be expensive to buy runes to fight with but its cheap if you buy runes and then high alch with them since you get the money back again. I actually make money from training mage. and what people said about mage not hitting isnt true, i hit alot with spells just not on archers who tend to own me

Well firstly:
GET RID OF RUNES! AHHH! NUU'S BUSINESS GOES KAPUT!
And secondly:
What would the call Runescape if there was no runes? MS instead of RS, that would take a lot of getting used to!
And thirdly:
Maybe if they give you more runes per essence? Or more runes to craft (especially for f2p)? Or more damage done per spell? All of those would be good. They just raised the prices of runes in shops, which is good news for us Rune dealers, but bad news for mages.

mages actually are better in attack because they gain levels faster so they get stronger faster than fighters.And anyways u can be both mage and warrior.I am
