I walked in a stranger, but I now look around and see friends. Not as many of those that witnessed my joining are here as I would have liked, it's no secret we've all lost a lot of friends on the way. But in some ways it's a far superior clan to that which I've joined, and I wouldn't want to go back given the chance, for all the friends I'd miss who joined later on. There are still times when I really miss some of the great people we've lost, but it's fair to say there have been others who have filled those spots.
I came here as an unknown member, just another slightly deranged final fantasy & runescape playing person. Due to a variety of both good and bad events I now post this as a Super Moderator and a General, but all this has illustrated is how arbitrary rank is to leadership. I hope those of you that aspire to help lead the clan realize this, that the only way to lead it effectively is through example as an equal rather than getting promoted. Many of our greatest members are (or were, in the case of those that have left) regular members, and didn't want anything above that.
Of course no speech of this type would be complete without some personal messages, but I'm pretty short on time so it will have to be brief. There's no possible way I could ever list everybody who deserves to be listed, but I'll try to go back and add some people later.
Bigrat: You're always there to talk to, and I can always trust on you for your insight into different situations. You're a great friend, and I'm sure others here would agree with that.
Darkie: I know we have a lot of arguments and sometimes get on each others nerves, but I really do think of you as a true friend. You've always got an opinion on everything and you always stick up for what you believe, it's a trait that others could do well to follow.
Final: I know we haven't seen a lot of each other recently for one reason or another, but there's no way I could ever thank people without including you. You're easily one of the best people here, and SeeD would be a much sadder place without you. You're a really cool person, don't be a stranger just because you have to be all respectable in the real world now.

Tanny: What can I say about Tanny that wouldn't be a complete understatement? You're always so vibrant and full of life, truly the life of the party. I can't help but smile or laugh during convos with you, but you're also a very generous and moral person. Sorry I tend to make a lot of jokes at your expense, and I hope you realise I hold you in the highest regard.

Cspace: It's been stated a million times that none of this would be here without you, but that doesn't make it any less true. Even more importantly though is your ongoing commitment, the sheer energy you put into leading and maintaining this clan is enormous. That sounds far too impersonal though, you're a great leader because you're a good person with good instincts. You understand others well, and nobody can make a point quite like you can. I feel privileged to have been able to chat with you, and discuss such a large amount of different issues. And unlike so many other leaders you don't 'rule' the place, you let the community at large decide which direction it wants to go in, and only step in when you need to, to keep things on track.
Starry: Another one I wish I got more of a chance to chat with as of late. A combination of time zones, commitments off the net and you finally wising up to going to bed at a reasonable hour might be preventing me from chatting with you much, but it hasn't lowered my opinion of you at all. You're still the same great person you always have been, just like when Bigbro first introduced us at the Karamja lessers. From memory, I think you weren't paying enough attention and got wiped out by a lesser, we had to grab your stuff for you.

I had a blast competing with you for combat level, even if you've thoroughly beaten me by now. Without you there just a level or two ahead, I never would have gotten half as strong as I did. And I'm still proud of the fact that for a week or two directly before the end of Rs1 I was a level above you.

MoS: I don't see you around much and we never really talked all that much even when you were able to get online, but I've always thought very highly of you. You don't try to pretend you're perfect, but you do things to the best of your ability. You're a great mediator, and there's a lot of wisdom and intelligence hidden behind those many anime avatars of yours.
Chao: I doubt you'll be here to read this, but I felt it only fair to mention the one and only Superchao. While we may not be particularly close friends like we once were, I just wanted to say you're a great person. I don't care at all about the RS generosity, it's always been your friendliness, gregarious nature and just general Chao-ness that made you so popular with everyone. You were a great friend to anyone that needed you, and the world would be a better place if more people acted as you did.
Obi: While you may not have had all that much time on recently, I still regard you as a great friend, and I just hope I'll be able to see more of you soon. You're mature and wise beyond your years, and I feel lucky to have gotten the chance to get to know you. I'll always remember you and the rest of the gang that would so often populate the old #seedchat very fondly, we sure had a lot of fun on there.

Hyper: The first SeeD I ever met on RS, you've been somewhat of a role-model the entire time I've been here. And not just because of your insanely high post count, you're a really cool guy. You always have something insightful to say in a serious situation, and something random to say in a less serious situation.
I can think of literally dozens of people who also deserve a mention, but I'm simply out of time. I'll try to add some more later, but please don't think that anyone I've forgotten isn't important. The people I've listed were the first that occurred to me, but there are a lot of others.
Thanks for indulging me in my rambling, now I'm officially 'Elder Goto' my mind tends to wander a bit.

Hope to see you all in another two years.
