check that out, "The Mercury-bound MESSENGER spacecraft took 358 images during a gravity assist swingby of Earth on Aug. 2, 2005. Those images were sequenced into an MPEG movie showing the view from MESSENGER as it departed Earth."

so this vid shows us what earth REALY looks like as you fly away. totaly beautiful. (its better than in the movies!)

i'm so glad they put this together, shows us just how cool our planet realy is.

yea i cant stop watching it.
Holywood makes it to bright green and light blue. darker colors IRL than they use.

It actually looks more like Venus to me. Cspace, I'm sure you've seen the pictures that show Venus' surface as blue under it's dense clouds. Is that the true color or are the pictures that show Venus as yellow correct?
