Manner perhaps?
First off, be sure to arrive on time as this shows you to be responsible a good thing if you want them to trust you with their son or daughter. Secondly, don't forget to offer to clear the table or help wash up.
If you aren't too sure as to what to call your date's parents, you'd be better off on the safe side by initially addressing them as Mr or Mrs. This way, you're giving them the option of telling you otherwise. Rika, a banker, will never forget one of her daughter's old boyfriends because straight off the bat, he would refer to her as ‘doll face' or ‘sweetness'. ‘Needless to say, he didn't last very long,' she laughs.

I have got:
Mind your manners: First off, be sure to arrive on time as this shows you to be responsible a good thing if you want them to trust you with their son or daughter. Secondly, don't forget to offer to clear the table or help wash up.
Would you like another advice?
followed by:
Keep the conversation flowing: Always keep talking about something of interest, never ever try to pinpoint or argue on anything you find wrong in discussion. Avoid swearing or smoking (even if they do) and steer clear of tasteless or dirty jokes
Wanna know where I got it from?
