My god finally the forums are up... and it looks like Callum would have won had the forums not come online sooner.

And it looks like there's a new record... although I don't believe this counts as the longest natural time since Cspace turned them offline. But still it's the longest time.

Oh and Callum you know how I mentioned a plant? Well I guess I'll tell the full story here...

My dad asked me to check with my Biology teacher about a plant no one in the family could recognize. So I went and showed Mr. Tucker and he told me to see Mr. Bennett the Horticulture teacher since he knew about plants more than Mr. Tucker, despite his enthusiasm for rare plants.

So I showed Mr. Bennett... he immediately could identify this plant (now that I think back on it, it makes me laugh) and named a whole string of scientific stuff to do with it. Seems it's a plant commonly found on farms called "Thorn Apple" (I forgot the scientific name) and it is slightly poisonous. The flowers bloom for about 1 or 2 days before they disappear and the massive seeds start to grow.

Turns out lots of people I showed had never seen the plant before and couldn't recognize it. Mark said it looked like an exotic plant (as did others asking if it came from another country) and Mark lives out in the country and runs through farms all the time.

I then decided to do my own research and thanks to Wiki's help, I learnt a surprising amount and it's bloody hilarious.

they are shifting objects around the room in a "randomly specific" way. They would pick up a lighter and put it under one corner of the bed, then they would take a pen and put it in the toilet paper roll, then they would take their wallet and put it in the toilet, et.c...

when i had the flu and went to sleep i somehow pulled a massive blanket on me that i was laying on.... i did all that^ and talked to my wall (i was hearing my radio).
ALL because my fever went way too hot.

Apparently there was a large debate about Datura stramonium a long time ago since my mum mentioned it being in the news a long time ago. So I figure that Mr. Bennett would have listened to the news back then. Either that or he's seen it before as a common weed on a farm.

Then again... you never know what those Horticulture teachers get up to.

Oh and yes Dhamon, mods can quick edit another person's posts just so long as it's in the forum of that moderator.
