My god Alice can be so mean sometimes...
So Sarah wanted to have today off so she could go somewhere and she was planning to ask Alice if I could fill her Supervisor shift (4.15pm to 10.15pm) and have Naomi back me up.
Then all of a sudden I get a phone call this morning (they always like calling me at 9am...) and Alice goes to me "Hey Jonathan, Alice from Woolworth's here how are ya? I'm just wondering but would you like to be a Supervisor from about 2pm onwards? Just come in at 1.30 and we'll run through anything you're unsure of then you can hand over all the stuff to Sarah when she comes in at 4.15pm.
Turns out Sarah's idea was turned aside because Alice didn't think I'd be confident enough by myself and because Sarah wasn't allowed leave just before New Year's... then she calls me up to fill in for her and Nicola because they decided they wanted to go to the beach a little earlier. She even adopted Sarah's plan and got Naomi to "back me up". Sarah came in and saw the roster and saw me and Naomi had been supervising... I didn't know she could get even more pissed and angry than what she'd been like when she walked in the door. She just started swearing and cursing Alice and just gave up.
Alice loves to do things like this...
