As you look at a ruined castle in the distance, you notice that a soft light is emitting from a few of the holes in the wall.

OoC: Wow, I just noticed there is a topic of exactly the same name in Valeron. Can someone change this to something like "A Forgotten Fortress" or something along those lines?

Rhesal trudges up to the castle.

Rhesal was greeted by a peculiar sight. Two men argued in the centre of the overgrown, former castle square. To one side was a camp with a fireplace, where no doubt one of the man had lived for a week or so, the same man Shawn had seen less than a month earlier, fleeing Aderon prison. The other man was a powerful sorcerer, an Aenorian. "What do you mean, 'It can't be done'." Shouted the former prisoner, "I have already paid you, Shadowfire, therefore I expect results." The sorcerer, who apparently went by the alias of Shadowfire, seemed to be getting annoyed. "You only entered this world two months ago, Chairman, you know next to nothing about magic. I have said it and I will say it again, the Dimensional Storm only works to bring things from other dimensionss into this one, not to send them back! I am afraid that is all I can do." The man who had been referred to as the Chairman looked puzzled, and paced back and forth, before finally coming to a decision. "So, could you bring some of my Comrades into this dimension?" "I could try." replied Shadowfire. "Well then, go ahead."

Shadowfire turned and faced out into the court, and began to conjure the most evil spell of all.

OoC: Oh, it is Rhesal, he can stay, I suppose. Try to get Shawn here too.

Rhesal watched the two men argue, then walked up to them. "Perhaps I could help...prisoner."

Shawn stays behind a nearby tree, guarded from view by the castle. But Shawn could see everything. And he will watch. And he will wait. Someone else was here. That was not part of the deal.

- Silence (2000): EC=0; Effect = Invisibility until attack/ability is used: Can use for travel; You will remain invisible to all who cannot see invisible characters, and can move with this in effect. This will lose its effect when an ability is used or a target is attacked.

A shadowy figure approaches... (OOC: It's Neraphym!!!)

The Chairman, upon hearing Rhesal's voice, swung around to face him, and before Rhesal knew it, he had a pistol in his face. "Who are you and what is your business here?" he demanded. Hearing the soft noise of Neraphym's approach, the Chairman addressed him as well. "And you! Show yourself!"

[Snowy]

Rhesal chuckled. He withdrew Ikrisen in a flash and pushed the pistol to the left side of his face, where it could fire without hitting him. He slashed at the barrel of the gun, hoping to disarm the Chairman.

The pistol flew out of his hand, falling a metre or so away from them both. "Alright, I am unarmed. Now tell me what you want."

[Snowy]

"Which one of you is the escaped prisoner?"

[Neraphym]

Neraphym walks in closer and nods to Rhesal. He stays silent, wondering what this is all about.

"Look, you two, I don't think you know what you are getting yourself into. Yes, I was the prisoner at Aderon, only because someone who goes by the name of Mr. Jackal threw me in there for no reason I know of. He murdered the sorcerer who used his magic to bring me here, and, I hear, is now out to murder me. It is him you should be imprisoning."

[Snowy]

"I follow the law. I'm afraid I will have to put you back in an Aderon holding cell, under tighter watch. I will personally make sure that you are safe. Until then your going to have to put these on." Rhesal pulls out some handcuffs and is about to put them on the prisoner when there is a stinging pain in his left side. He looks down and sees an arrow. He looks up and sees a man strutting towards him, bow raised, an Aderon parrying blade in his mouth.

Shawn looks at Rhesal then says," The money better be here. I believe I just shot the King of Frionia."

"Ah, Comrade, you have arrived! This should be enough for you to by some better equipment."

Meanwhile, in a world far away from Earthia, a military parade was underway. Soldiers, war machines and war heroes marched triumphantly through a grand city, with cheering crowds flanking the sides. "With this resounding defeat in Degolburg, The Allied Gardens have been dealt a mighty blow by the People." announced the speakers above the parade. Then, suddenly everything changed. Several regiments simply disappeared, before an audience of thousands. The crowd went silent. "I...I don't believe it! Thousands of soldiers seem to have just disappeared into thin air! This appears to be the same weapon used to abduct Chairman Jumbo!" The commentator paused. "I have just recieved a message from Comrade ..., who says that Centra is to blame for this evil deed! Those capitalist pigs have struck again!"

Back in the fortress, Shadowfire was just completing his spell. "Here it comes, Chairman! Brace yourself!" A huge storm of Dark Energy swept across the Entarca Fields, drowning out all light. Slowly, this storm weakened, until finally it disappeared all together, revealing a peculiar sight. Thousands of soldiers and war machines were scattered around the fortress, looking puzzled and wondering how they got here. The Chairman grinned broadly, and climbed up onto the tallest remaining wall. Then he spoke. "People of Cactuar Island, it is I, your former Chairman, Jumbo Cactuar, who you see before you. I have brought you into this world using the finest sorcery available. Why? So we together may bring the wonders of socialism to this barbarian, capitalist place. Utilising the things we can find in this world, and others, we will have the military prowess to finally defeat those evil capitalist gardens who threaten to destroy us all!"

"Oh no, this is worse than I thought." A man, dressed in a long coat and a broad rimmed hat, stepped out of the gloom. "Why did you do this, Shadowfire?" "He paid me well." replied the exhausted sorcerer. "I knew there was going to be mercenaries involved, but I never expected the direct line from master to apprentice, coming from Nemorok himself." pondered the man. Chairman Jumbo cut in. "Mr. Jackal, I am arresting you for capturing and confining the Chairman of the People's Socialist Republic of Cactuar Island. You will be executed immediately. My People, attack the fugitive!" Realising the danger he was in, Mr. Jackal turned to go. "You have beaten me this time, Jumbo, but this is not over yet!" And with that, he vanished once again.

OoC: This is the start of another conflict, a bit like Cspace's official conflicts but a bit different. I will do all the organising stuff in a bit. >.<
