Aquiella returns the favour and destroys Alpha 3. She then goes to investigate the debris field of Longspear, seeing if she can scavenge any cargo. Finding the box, she grabs it with her appendage with which spaceships grab things and pulls it into the pirate ship.

Inside the box you find a strange looking stick of wood and 2 rocks.
Staff of Evolution (DP + 50; Two Handed; Evolve Abilities)
Evolve Abilities:
Absorb (0): Persistent Effect = Staff may absorb evolution gems into itself to increase abilities.
Gem of Ascension: Effect = Can Summon 2 companions at the same time.
Gem of Efficiency: Effect = Takes 1 less turn to summon

Aquiella picked up the staff and it gobbled up the gems like a pack of beggars with a three-legged cat.
