This Holiday season, is a time of presents, gifts, and (To the joy of Gamers) hopefully new systems or games. Now, that's all fine and dandy. This season is meant to be a time of joy, peace, and love. So now would be the prime example of showing that same care, not just to gamers, but their systems as well.

If you, or someone you know happens to roll across a console fanboy this year, be sure to either punch his lights out, or toss their console into a nearby river. These people are obviously oblivious to the spirit of the season, and have nothing better to do than berate you for your gifts.

Haha, now then.. Be sure you don't follow the above actions I gave you without firstly trying the next alternatives.
  1. Reason with them. Though this approach usually never works, it's always a good attempt and shows your specific level of maturity.
  2. Defend your ground! State all of the positives and try to bring the offender to an understanding that it's personal preference. And that doesn't make you a bad person.
  3. Compromise. State pros and (Yes, you may have to go so far as to state) cons. Then do the same for his/her system of choice. Nobody said the system had to be perfect, but it can still be amazing!
  4. Ignore them. Know that if they have the audacity to insult you over your gaming choices, you're better off not wasting your superior mind power to fight.

Remember. If confronted by a fanboy, never "Fanboy" back. Two fanboys arguing over the same subject will get nowhere. If the other person is simple too closed minded to accept the fact that all systems are indeed equal in one sense or another, THEN and ONLY THEN may you smash them with your weapon of choice.

All systems are equal. If you recieve a system this Christmas, or recieve one ever. Be sure to remember this. They were given to us to have FUN with. Not berate and belittle one another.

Because when it comes right down to it.. We're all Gamers. In our own, obscure, weird little way, we're family. Treat each other that way.

Merry Christmas. Happy Holidays.

Game on.
Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".
Born to bear and read to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see.

Things which you should look at:

SKoA - http://skoa.cspacezone.com/ , if you have any Age of Empires games.

The DS Garden Festival Minigame - Link , whether you play DStorm or not.

The Most Mysterious SSSS - Link For people who don't care about...things.
