I hope this makes the new system easier to understand... I'll still try to simplify my descriptions, but let the images do the talking, I think they should make things a lot easier. thumb.gif

Before I progress to the next tree, I plan to set up a couple other necessary pages listing all of the stats and maybe the entire race update. I'm trying to get the system to the point where it can be used in the Colosseum while I'm adding abilities.

So... the new class system is going to be ruled by these trees?

Indeed, they provide a way for characters to specialize as well as branch into multiple classes. A tree can be considered a class in the new system.

In this page three trees have been completed (Adventurer, Warrior, and Mage). One can probably get a feel for the new system by checking out those classes.

Can you go through multiple tires?

ex
Soldier
Gunman/Computer Operator/Pilot
Tactician

(assuming you had insane amounts of posts like hyper)

Yeah, that's actually the intention of the update. thumb.gif

One would begin with a starter tree (or a few) and move to higher tiers. Given that enough points can be spent on them, a character can have skills in as many trees as desired, just as long as the boxes are attained in the correct order.

It takes time to actually come up with abilities and balance them out. There's also a whole set of races, devotion abilities, and maybe even new racial abilities.

We could just force Nuu to do the update. He'd never bug Cspace to go faster then ShiftyEyes_anim.gif

... However, I also wonder why so few classes have been released/finished >.<

Rofl! I would, too. Anywho, once the races come out or Cspace gives me a good idea on how to balance the races, I'll update the colosseum so we can balance for him.
