So yeah. I just got home and had to make a thread. I saw the 12:01 showing.
I won't ruin everything, I'll just say it's absolutely incredible and everyone must see it. Especially if you love twists and turns in the plot. It's just amazing.
We can discuss it after more people have seen it I suppose.

Worth dragging myself away from my work and study to go spend 10 dollars or so to watch?
*Though, I think it's sold out around here.

Ledgers? Is that the guy who plays Joker? (I don't keep track of celebrities.) Dead from OD I think?
Yes to all of those questions.

I saw a 10:00PM showing on opening day yesterday, and I spent all morning making a review for it. I submitted into CurvedSpace, here's a link: http://www.cspacezon...e...iew&iden=33
It's good.
It's good.

I saw it yet again at the drive-in tonight. Lol.
If Heath doesn't at least get nominated for a posthumous oscar, I'll be angry. He certainly deserves a nomination imo even if he hadn't died. How about a big CurvedSpace round of applause for Mr. Ledger and the rest of the cast/crew?

Geeze, everyone is extolling this movie quite a bit. I am starting to debate getting off my butt and watching it.

Not only was this his best movie, hands down.. but his acting made everyone else look great too. Don't give him all the credit though.. Christian Bale (Batman) did a great job in his parts as well. Haha, and there was actually an action scene where everyone in the movie literally stood up and OOOH!'d. Pretty fantastic, and definitely worth watching again and again.

Oh, no doubt. Christian Bale is by far the best Batman at least since Michael Keaton and imo he's better than Keaton. And Michael Caine makes a better Alfred than that other guy did I think as well. And Aaron Eckhart is definitely the best Harvey Dent, but one can't really blame Tommy Lee Jones for such horrid ideas with makeup and costumes in Batman Forever.
Maggie Gyllenhaal made a wonderful Rachel as well; I like her acting better than Katie Holmes, though both were great.
