The Forums Are Going To Be Changing

This is just a warning so you know what to expect. Some of the forums are going to be rearranged and merged. Everyone may not like the changes at first, but what I'm doing is providing more of a focus and more organization, as well as making some popular or potentially popular subforums more visible. This probably won't all happen at once, there will be a large change and then little things may change here and there in various places. The board index may get a little longer and more categories may appear, but it is to enhance the visible activity of the board and make what is important more accessible.
There is also a possibility of one or two new forums, and a few changed forum names.
And no, the mod update is not part of this.
Just thought I'd give the heads up, nothing will be lost or anything. I'll post a list of all the changes once it is done.

Yeah I'm glad this update is happening, alot of the forums aren't as easily accessible as they should be...like my Farington forum, for example.
We should put that at the top of the list. It has potential for huge growth...
Just look at these statistics!

Woah, that's a lot of changes!
Might I just add: I think the Secure Forums and the Archives category should probably be last.
And the Insanity Board being the only forum in the Secondary Forums category makes no sense...
But, well, I'm sure we'll see more changes as the day unfolds.

- Made the category "The Gaming Center"
- Merged the Arcade, LoGD, and QS forums together into "The Quad". That forum is in the Gaming Center category.
- Changed the forum previously known as the "Gaming Center" to "The Game Room".
- Deleted the Final Fantasy Corner forum due to inactivity and merged it with The Game Room.
- Merged the SeeD Goals and Accomplishments forum with the Accomplishment Forum (previously in the Gaming Center). Renamed the merged forum to "The Domain of Ownage" and made it a root forum in The Gaming Center.
- Renamed the "SeeD Forums" category to "SeeD HQ"
- Merged RS Help And Information with the Game Room (so it is applicable with all factions, and to bring together related activity)
- Moved the Market to the RS Faction Forum, since it only applies to RS
- Moved the PK Forum to the RS Faction Forum, since it only applies to RS
- Moved the SeeD Inn to the SeeD HQ category (and got rid of the redirect link since it is now obsolete)
- Moved the Faction Communities forum to the SeeD HQ category
- Moved the Legion of Aderon (the anti-rulebreaker one) to the RS faction forum. There was a little confusion between that and some factions, and it RS-related, so that is probably the best place for it at the moment.
- Created the category "The Media Center"
- Moved the 'Media Center' forum to The Media Center category, and renamed it 'The Basement'
- Made the Otaku Forum a root forum in The Media Center
- Moved the Book/Literature Forum to The Media Center
- Created the category "The Intellectual Area"
- Moved the Study Hall to the Intellectual Area
- Moved the Trivia Forum to the Intellectual Area
- Moved the Debate Forum to the Intellectual Area
- Moved the Creativity Forum to the Intellectual Area
- Renamed the Creativity Forum to the Creativity Corner
- Merged the Screenshot forum with the Creativity Corner
- Merged the Fanfiction forum with the Creativity Corner
- Archived the Mediator Forum
- Moved the Signature Center forum to Creativity Corner
- Moved Technical Difficulties to the Intellectual Area, and renamed the forum to "The Geek Farm"
- Moved the Transfer Forum to the Intellectual Area
- Moved CurvedSpace/SeeD Suggestions to the Help Desk category (which was the Support Forums category)
- Changed "Moderator Appeal Board" to "The Headmaster's Office", and moved it to the Help Desk category
- Renamed the "Announcements" category to "The Bridge"
- Moved the Insanity Board to Stuff Category (was the Main Forums category). This eliminates the nebulous 'secondary forums' category
- Changed the Chatting Zone to the Cafeteria
- Moved the Emblem Claim into SeeD Inn
- Unpinned some old or obsolete pinned threads.
Lol... I was in the process of updating when you noticed it.

Contrary to what I said, nothing was added. For the most part all I did was break up the 'Secondary Forums' category into specifics, placed all the SeeD forums in the same category, moved the RS forums to the RS faction forum, merged and archived some inactive forums, and changed some names to make things a little more interesting. Also, to fill in the spots that were left open by removing the inactive forums, I moved some popular or potentially popular sub forums out into the board index so they can more easily be located.
It should be easier to find things now because forums aren't all just mixed into nubulous categories or scattered in crossover categories. Some inactive specific sub forums are also now merged with their parent forums, allowing activity to be more properly distributed. You're just not used to it, but to a new member and when you become accustomed to it I'm sure that it will be at least as good as before.
