I think it would be a good idea to have a forum where SeeD's Christian members can discuss their religion.
I asked goto about this a while ago, and he said many of the members are athiest/jewish/whatever. So that no one gets pissed of, we can have a religion forum and then a Christianty sub-forum.
And I would be happy to be a mod there.
What do you guys think? ^_^

There's not much to discuss that hasn't been discussed in the 2000 years since Jesus died.
Except whether he'd come back as a ZOMBIE.

Ferret I dont meen to sound anoying but please dont say stoff like that. I respect your relegion and I hope you do the same for mine (christainity).
I support this idea. We could post things like songs and news. But there also many things we would have to overcome. So I dont think now is the best time for that.

Anyway, I disagree. Someone would say something as innocent as what FO just said and everyone would get annoyed. It would be like a Flaming Forum.

Nuu has a point. People would probably go in there on an anti-Christian crusade and cause more problems than the forum itself is worth. I've seen these on other forums, but I don't particularly think this is the best place for one.

Sorry for the semi-revive, but I just noticed the topic so I figured I should probably post something.
Unfortunately I think Nuu and Nighthawk could well have a point, religion tends to be a bit of a sore spot for a lot of people, and we don't really want to give pointless and unnecessary fights a reason to happen.
Also we can't really create sub-forums for every subtly different religious group that has representatives on this board, so it'd be introducing a bias towards one religion instead of another. And of course, as Spike says, boards such as these tend to have a short burst of activity before falling into inactivity and obscurity for months at a time. Longer board indexes with more inactive boards makes it harder to navigate to the active stuff, and makes a forums seem less active.
That's my take on the issue anyway, it's certainly not the only valid opinion. I don't think there is really all that much of a calling for a christianity forum on CurvedSpace, but then again I don't consider myself a Christian.

I just don't get it... if you said Moses should come back as a zombie, it wouldn't offend any Jews (Well maybe Orthodox...).

Yeh, that's a nice forum that you've got there. I already saw it earlier... I might join sometime in the future. 
But we were talking about a forum on the site.
So I guess i'll put this to rest. I think it would just cause to much controversy and provoke too much flamming.
